Saying goodbye. Stephen \u201ctWitch\u201d Boss<\/a> was honored by loved ones <\/a>during an emotional memorial service on Saturday, February 11.<\/p>\n Over 500 friends and family members gathered to honor the late dancer at a Celebration of Life service in Los Angeles, multiple outlets report. Wife Allison Holker <\/a><\/strong>and her daughter Weslie, 14, spoke at the event.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was the light. He chose love, grace and kindness. And he deserves to be celebrated,\u201d Holker said via People<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Mickey Guyton<\/strong><\/a> and Andy Grammer<\/strong> <\/a>performed songs at the memorial service while Bdash<\/strong> (real name James Derrick), Slavik Pustovoytov<\/strong> and Ceasare \u201cTighteyex\u201d Willis<\/strong> honored Boss with dance tributes.<\/p>\n The family pastor, Joe Smith<\/strong>, hosted the Celebration of Life, Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a> reports. Guests included Ellen DeGeneres<\/strong><\/a>, Wayne Brady<\/strong><\/a>, Loni Love<\/strong><\/a>, Jeff Thacker<\/strong>, Derek Hough<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0AJ McLean<\/strong><\/a>, Robin Antin<\/strong> and many members of both the So You Think You Can Dance<\/em>\u00a0and the Ellen DeGeneres Show<\/em> casts and crews.<\/p>\n While paying tribute to the choreographer, Holker and her family revealed that they started the Move with Kindness Foundation, which \u201caims to carry on the legacy of Stephen \u2018tWitch\u2019 Boss by spreading love and mental health awareness,\u201d per ET<\/em>.<\/p>\n Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed Boss died by reported suicide<\/a> at age 40 on December 13. Holker\u00a0broke her silence shortly after the news of the dancer\u2019s passing made headlines.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cIt is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,\u201d the Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> alum, 34, told People. \u201cStephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.\u201d<\/p>\n Holker, who raised three kids with her late husband<\/a>, reflected on the legacy he left behind. \u201cHis positive impact will continue to be felt. I am certain there won\u2019t be a day that goes by that we won\u2019t honor his memory,\u201d she continued. \u201cWe ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children. Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.\u201d<\/p>\n The couple tied the knot in 2013 after meeting on the season 7 set of So You Think You Can Dance<\/em><\/a> three years prior. Boss and Holker expanded their family with son Maddox in 2016 and daughter Zaia in 2019. The Alabama native also adopted his wife\u2019s child from a previous relationship.<\/p>\n Ahead of his death, the pair reflected on the early days of their relationship<\/a>. During an interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show<\/em> in November, Holker gushed about the \u201camazing\u201d moment that they crossed paths, adding, \u201cOf course I [made the first move].\u201d<\/p>\n Boss, for his part, joked that he was \u201ca little oblivious\u201d to Holker\u2019s romantic attempts<\/a> at first. \u201cShe\u2019s also incredibly nice and welcoming and stuff like that,\u201d he shared. \u201cSo I\u2019m not gonna be like, \u2018Yeah, she\u2019s feeling me.\u2019 \u2026 Literally, she was feeling me during dance rehearsals, but I didn\u2019t catch on. But I caught on to something.\u201d<\/p>\n The actress noted that she wasn\u2019t ruling out plans to have more kids<\/a>. \u201cI sure do [want more children]. I think we\u2019d love to start trying for another [baby],\u201d she shared at the time.<\/p>\n In response, Boss pointed out that the major milestone would require private discussions, saying, \u201cListen. \u2026 I love lil babies. I love them.
