SKIMS announced Brittany and her husband, Patrick Mahomes<\/strong><\/a>, as the face of the line\u2019s 2023 holiday campaign. It didn\u2019t take long for Swifties to get their feathers ruffled and begin slamming the certified personal trainer online.\n<\/p>\n Brittany posted a series of photos with Patrick and their two kids on Instagram<\/a> on November 9 as part of a paid partnership with Kim\u2019s shapewear company. Within minutes of the photos going up, comments began to roll in from Taylor\u2019s fans condemning the fitness entrepreneur\u2019s decision to collaborate with Kim.<\/p>\n One person wrote, \u201cDo you know what the owner of this brand did to your friend??? Pls stop.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201c100% never supporting anything a Kardashian does. And Kim is so desperate to get at Taylor, it\u2019s laughable,\u201d another commented.<\/p>\n One Swiftie went as far as to think the timing of Brittany\u2019s announcement was suspicious, writing, \u201cOdd that this was posted on Taylor\u2019s first day back on tour\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n Neither Brittany or Taylor have made statements about the collaboration yet, but the former soccer player has since limited comments on the Instagram post.<\/p>\n All tried and true Taylor fans are aware of her former feud with The Kardashians<\/em> star and her ex-husband Kanye West<\/strong><\/a>. In February 2016, seven years after Kanye interrupted Taylor\u2019s acceptance speech<\/a> at the 2009 MTV VMAs, the rapper reignited the flames of the feud with lyrics in his song \u201cFamous.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like me and Taylor might still have sex \/ I made that bitch famous,\u201d Kanye rapped.<\/p>\n Taylor quickly released a statement via her rep claiming she wasn\u2019t aware of the line, \u201cI made that bitch famous.\u201d Fast forward to June 2016, and Kim inserted herself into the middle of the drama<\/a> claiming in a GQ<\/em><\/a> interview that Taylor \u201ctotally knew that that was coming out.\u201d<\/p>\n The following month, Kim produced receipts and showed Snapchat messages between Taylor and Kanye<\/a> with Taylor seemingly telling Kanye to \u201cgo with whatever line you think is better.\u201d Taylor ultimately asked \u201cto be excluded from this narrative.\u201d<\/p>\n On August 24, 2017, Taylor dropped the first song from her \u201cReputation\u201d album titled \u201cLook What You Made Me Do,\u201d which is believed to be about Kanye. Of course, Swifties immediately took the snake imagery used in the \u201cLook What You Made Me Do\u201d lyrics video to be a dig at Kim calling Taylor \u201ca snake\u201d at one point.<\/p>\n Taylor and Brittany have been spotted at several Kansas City Chiefs games looking quite chummy. At one point, the two seemed to come up with their own secret handshake<\/a>.
