Aca-believe it!\u00a0Pitch Perfect<\/i><\/a>\u00a0hit theaters in 2012 and became an instant classic.<\/p>\n The film centers on the Barden Bellas a cappella team \u2014 who make music using only their mouths \u2014 and has proven its staying power. The franchise has since released two aca-awesome sequels.<\/p>\n In 2015, the musical group took on international competitors in hopes of keeping their group\u2019s performance abilities intact. Three years later, The Bellas reunited as college graduates to sing in Europe as a part of the USO Tour and a spot on\u00a0DJ Khaled<\/b><\/a>\u2019s label.<\/p>\n Characters have been added along the way, but the original Bellas \u2014 made up of Beca (Anna Kendrick<\/b><\/a>), Aubrey (Anna Camp<\/b><\/a>), Chloe (Brittany Snow<\/b><\/a>), Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson<\/b><\/a>) and more \u2014 cemented their place in fans\u2019 hearts early on.<\/p>\n There are also a few Barden Treblemakers \u2014 including Bumper (Adam DeVine<\/b><\/a>), Jesse (Skylar Astin<\/b><\/a>) and Benji (Ben Platt<\/b><\/a>) \u2014 who made a lasting impression from their first appearance on screen.<\/p>\n The friendships between the actors<\/a> have become stronger with each movie as well.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s our favorite thing to do,\u201d Snow told\u00a0Us Weekly<\/i>\u00a0exclusively<\/a> in October 2017. \u201cWe would do these movies forever, not only because we\u2019re such a family, but also because we\u2019ve now gotten into a routine and a system and we understand each other\u2019s comedy.\u201d<\/p>\n That family dynamic led to the stars being able to add in their own lines and actions in the third film. \u201cOur director let us improve anything that we wanted to do,\u201d the Florida native explained. \u201cThe majority of the movie is basically what we wanted to say and how we would say it, which in the other two was pretty much always being stuck to the script.\u201d<\/p>\n Off screen the cast has remained close, attending each other\u2019s weddings, bachelorette bashes, throwing holiday cookie decorating parties<\/a> and more. Camp,\u00a0Kelley Jakle<\/b><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Pitch Perfect 2<\/i>\u00a0addition\u00a0Chrissie Fit<\/b>\u00a0were even bridesmaids in Snow\u2019s March 2020 nuptials<\/a>.<\/p>\n The ladies are also \u201cDixie Chicks serious\u201d about their bond and WhatsApp group chat<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, of course,\u201d Kendrick told\u00a0Us\u00a0<\/i>exclusively in November 2019. \u201cIt\u2019ll go a while without a reason to talk but then sometimes people will have events that they\u2019ll ask us to come [to]. Someone will be performing [and they\u2019ll text], or sometimes it will just be, \u2018Hey, what\u2019s up,\u2019 or a little gossip, or did you guys see this? It\u2019s very cute.\u201d<\/p>\n
