Very sad news today out of the entertainment world:<\/p>\n
Cody Longo, best known for his roles on Days of Our Lives and Hollywood Heights, has passed away. <\/p>\n
He was 34 years old.<\/p>\n<\/noscript>Cody Longo attends the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall on August 20, 2018 in New York City.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\u201cCody was our whole world. The kids and I are shattered and beyond devastated,\u201d the actor\u2019s wife, Stephanie, said late on Friday.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was the best dad and best father. We will always and forever miss you and love you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe had taken some time away from acting to pursue music and spend more time with his family in Nashville, but we had kept in touch regularly and he was excited to get back into acting this year.\u201d<\/p>\n

(Photo by Jamie McCarthy\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nLongo portrayed Nicholas Alamain \u2014 the son of Carly Manning (Crystal Chappell) \u2014 on Days of Our Lives for eight episodes in 2011. <\/p>\n
He also appeared on Hollywood Heights, Make It or Break It and the ABC drama Nashville.<\/p>\n
In addition to acting, Longo released the tracks \u201cShe Said\u201d and \u201cElectric.\u201d<\/p>\n
In January 2021, Longo pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge in Colorado relating to a 2019 incident with a 9-year-old girl, according to Clarksville Now.<\/p>\n

\u201cOverwhelming evidence unequivocally disproves and refutes the allegations in the affidavit. <\/p>\n
\u201cOther than the evidence of innocence revealed in the actual, not summarized, interviews in the affidavit, additional evidence completely exonerates him.\u201d<\/p>\n
Longo is survived by his wife and three kids.<\/p>\n
