Wynonna Judd<\/strong><\/a> has seen the comments about her performance at the 2023 CMA Awards<\/a> \u2014 but she promised fans they have nothing to worry about.<\/p>\n

The country singer, 59, was seen holding onto Jelly Roll<\/strong> (real name Jason Bradley DeFord)<\/a> while they sang \u201cNeed a Favor\u201d at the awards show in Nashville on Wednesday, November 8. Following the performance, some viewers began to express concerns regarding Judd\u2019s health, and she later took to Instagram<\/a> to explain her behavior.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t read the comments, I read the comments!\u201d Judd said in the video. \u201cI\u2019m just gonna come clean with y\u2019all. I was so freaking nervous. I got out there and I looked at Jelly Roll. I wanted it to be so good for him. I could cry right now, but I\u2019m not going to because I\u2019m such a fan of his and he asked me to sing and I said, \u2018Absolutely!’\u201d<\/p>\n

Judd recalled her anxiety kicking in once she took the stage, adding, \u201cI got out there and I was so nervous that I just held on for dear life. And that\u2019s the bottom line. All is well!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI have to show up for people like people did me,\u201d she told Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a> on the red carpet. \u201cThat\u2019s my job now is to pass it on because people have been so generous with me and now it\u2019s my turn to be generous with people like Jelly Roll and that\u2019s what I\u2019m doing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Judd also opened up about her emotional performances, saying, \u201cI have my ups and my downs and that\u2019s life, and I\u2019m just telling the fans. Like the other night, I got emotional, I felt [my] mom. And I got overcome and I just said, \u2018I need some water and I need somebody to hold onto me for a second while I take a deep breath and cry.\u2019 And I just do it because that\u2019s the way life is.\u201d<\/p>\n
