After 118 days on strike, SAG-AFTRA has officially reached a tentative agreement on a new three-year contract with studios. The SAG-AFTRA TV\/Theatrical Committee approved the agreement in a unanimous vote on Wednesday, SAG-AFTRA announced. The strike will end at 12:01 am Thursday.<\/p>\n
Both sides spent the last few days finalizing the deal. It will see the first-ever protections for actors against AI and a historic pay increase. The deal will see most minimums increase by 7% \u2014 2% percent above the increases received by the Writers Guild of America and the Directors Guild of America.<\/p>\n
The full details are expected to be released Friday, after the national board vote.<\/p>\n
