Kody Brown<\/strong><\/a> expressed some mixed feelings about his relationship with Janelle Brown<\/strong><\/a> during the latest episode of Sister Wives<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI asked Janelle once, \u2018What is it? Why can\u2019t we reconcile? Let\u2019s try and reconcile. Why can\u2019t we?’\u201d he said in a confessional on Sunday, November 5, after visiting Janelle\u2019s new apartment. \u201c[She says], \u2018Well, I don\u2019t know what your relationship with Robyn and Meri are, but I\u2019m just not interested in being involved with those people.\u2019 And that\u2019s sad. Because that\u2019s the deal we made about plural marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tensions have been high between Kody and Janelle, both 54, throughout season 18<\/a> after the pair had a blowout argument. They accused each other of \u201cgaslighting\u201d<\/a> during their screaming match, which aired in September, and their status has remained up in the air on camera.<\/p>\n

Kody confessed on Sunday that \u201cit\u2019s sad\u201d to see how his marriage to Janelle has \u201cunwound\u201d over time. \u201cI can\u2019t get the puzzle pieces back together,\u201d he said. \u201cBut I\u2019m gonna ask her again next week if we might be able to reconcile. And it\u2019s painful every time. Maybe I should get more serious about it, but every time, it\u2019s like, \u2018Nope.’\u201d<\/p>\n

In an interview of her own, Janelle admitted she wasn\u2019t that interested in trying to \u201cnurture a relationship\u201d with fellow sister wives Meri Brown<\/strong><\/a> and Robyn Brown<\/strong><\/a>. \u201cIt feels like something he\u2019s trying to use to excuse his behavior,\u201d Janelle said of Kody expecting her to get along with Meri, 52, and Robyn, 45. \u201c\u2018Why would I want to get back together with you? It\u2019s your fault. You\u2019ll be a bad sister wife. I have to protect Robyn.\u2019 Because he doesn\u2019t have a relationship with Meri.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Janelle, Kody hadn\u2019t made it clear that he wanted to repair their marriage. \u201cHe\u2019s never come to me and said, \u2018Hey, I love you. I miss you. I wanna get back together,’\u201d she claimed. \u201cIt\u2019s always about, \u2018Don\u2019t you want to get the family back together,\u2019 so that his life can run smoothly again? And I\u2019m done with that, I really am.\u201d<\/p>\n

Janelle joined Kody\u2019s plural family in 1993, three years after he tied the knot with Meri. Christine entered a spiritual relationship with Kody in 1994, and Robyn followed in 2010. Kody shook up the family\u2019s dynamic<\/a> in 2014 when he chose to legally divorce Meri and become Robyn\u2019s lawful husband<\/a> in order to adopt her children from a prior marriage.
