\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Priscilla Presley<\/strong><\/a> is looking back at her marriage to Elvis Presley<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Priscilla<\/strong>, 78, was married to the late King of Rock and Roll from 1967 until 1973. Elvis<\/strong> died four years later in 1977. Together, they share daughter Lisa Marie Presley<\/strong><\/a>, who sadly passed in early 2023.<\/p>\n While promoting her new biopic Priscilla<\/em> directed by Sofia Coppola<\/strong><\/a>, Priscilla<\/strong> explained why she and Elvis<\/strong> only had one child and why she never remarried after their divorce.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n During a Q&A event in Las Vegas, Priscilla<\/strong> confirmed the long-standing rumor that she vowed to never get married alive as long as Elvis<\/strong> was alive.<\/p>\n \u201cI just don\u2019t think that he could handle that,\u201d Priscilla<\/strong> said, according to People<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Despite the fact that Elvis<\/strong> died in 1977, Priscilla<\/strong> kept her promise to never remarry.<\/p>\n \u201cTo be honest with you, I never wanted to marry after him. I never had any desire,\u201d Priscilla <\/strong>confirmed. \u201cNo one could ever match him.\u201d <\/p>\n As for why she and Elvis<\/strong> only had Lisa Marie<\/strong>, Priscilla<\/strong> explained, \u201cElvis felt he had a very busy schedule and he did have a bit of guilt that he wasn\u2019t around that much when Lisa was younger.\u201d<\/p>\n She added, \u201cWith his scheduling and his touring, he just felt he wasn\u2019t around enough to give a lot of attention to having another child.\u201d<\/p>\n Years later, Priscilla<\/strong> and Marco Garibaldi<\/strong> welcomed son Navarone Garibaldi<\/strong><\/a> in 1987.<\/p>\n Priscilla<\/strong> also recently recalled her final moments with Lisa Marie<\/strong> and addressed rumors she was feuding<\/a> with granddaughter Riley Keough<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
