{"id":51225,"date":"2023-11-04T10:51:42","date_gmt":"2023-11-04T10:51:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2023\/11\/04\/arnold-schwarzenegger-sued-by-cyclist\/"},"modified":"2023-11-04T10:51:42","modified_gmt":"2023-11-04T10:51:42","slug":"arnold-schwarzenegger-sued-by-cyclist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2023\/11\/04\/arnold-schwarzenegger-sued-by-cyclist\/","title":{"rendered":"Arnold Schwarzenegger sued by cyclist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"byline\">\n<time itemprop=\"datePublished\" content=\"2023-11-04\" datetime=\"1699095102\" pubdate=\"\">4 November 2023<\/time>\n<\/p>\n<p>Arnold Schwarzenegger is being sued by a cyclist he allegedly hit with his SUV.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"image-caption landscape\">Arnold Schwarzenegger sued by cyclist<\/p>\n<p>\nBack in February, the 76-year-old actor was involved in an accident with cyclist Joanne Flickinger, who is alleging in a new lawsuit that Schwarzenegger&#8217;s \u201cnegligent\u201d driving caused the collision.<\/p>\n<p>\nAccording to her lawsuit, which was viewed by the Los Angeles Times, Flickinger accuses Schwarzenegger of driving \u201cwith excessive speed and [failing] to keep a proper lookout\u201d on San Vicente Boulevard in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>\nShe alleges the collision caused her &#8220;severe injuries&#8221; which are &#8220;permanent&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>\nShe is seeking damages exceeding $25,000 for \u201cpast and future pain and suffering, emotional distress; past and future loss of earnings; past and future loss of earning capacity; past and future medical expenses; past and future healthcare expenses; past and future incidental expenses; and past and future household services&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>\nAt the time of the accident, law enforcement sources told TMZ: &#8220;the woman made a left turn in front of Arnold before he had a chance to hit his brakes and he was not going very fast at all&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>\nWhile Flickinger was transported to hospital, Schwarzenegger took her bicycle for repairs at a local bike shop.<\/p>\n<p>\nLAPD Officer Mike Lopez told The LA Times in February: &#8220;No crime was committed&#8221;.
