The\u00a0Yellowstone<\/em><\/a> universe keeps expanding! In June 2018, Taylor Sheridan<\/strong> introduced fans to the Paramount Network series starring Kevin Costner<\/strong><\/a>, and it\u2019s since become a huge phenomenon. The parent show \u2014 which kicked off its fifth season<\/a> in November 2022 \u2014\u00a0has given birth to multiple spinoff shows.<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t keep up with all their success,\u201d Kevin told Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a> in March 2022 of all the shows.\u00a0\u201cI just show up and I wear the hat. I\u2019ve enjoyed being able to do it, and we\u2019ll just see how long that goes.\u201d<\/p>\n In\u00a0Yellowstone<\/i>, the\u00a0Bodyguard<\/em> actor stars as John Dutton, the owner of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch in Montana. He stars alongside Luke Grimes<\/strong>, Kelly Reilly\u00a0<\/strong>and Wes Bentley<\/strong>, who play his children, Kayce, Beth and Jamie, respectively.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was the notion of a man who had inherited the seventh generation of this massive cattle ranch and reaching a place where he was aware of his own mortality, and who could he trust to shepherd this ranch into the next generation? And when you have a piece of land as big as this is, it\u2019s almost a kingdom,\u201d creator Taylor explained to Variety<\/em> in June 2018 about his initial idea surrounding he show. \u201cAnd so, does that make you a king? Kings, they don\u2019t employ morality when they\u2019re making decisions. Their job is to preserve the kingdom. So, it lends itself to some really fascinating questions about us.\u201d<\/p>\n Once\u00a0Yellowstone<\/em> found its footing, the ideas for spinoffs began. The first was\u00a01883<\/em> \u2014 which premiered in December 2021 on Paramount+ \u2014 and starred Sam Elliott<\/strong>, Tim McGraw<\/strong><\/a> and Faith Hill<\/strong><\/a>, among others.<\/p>\n \u201cI created this peek through time to show you this one specific journey,\u201d Taylor told Deadline<\/em><\/a> after the show\u2019s final episode aired in February 2022. \u201cOn to the next peek through the window.
