Country music fans are in for a treat with the 2023 CMA Awards<\/a>, which will take over Nashville on Wednesday, November 8.<\/p>\n

The highly anticipated awards show will bring the best of the genre to the masses<\/a>, including a performance from Lainey Wilson<\/strong><\/a>. The \u201cWildflowers and Wild Horses\u201d singer, 31, is the most nominated artist this year<\/a> with nine total nods \u2014 an honor she does not take lightly.<\/p>\n

\u201cHoly moly y\u2019all. Someone pinch me. I can\u2019t believe my eyes,\u201d Wilson wrote via X in September<\/a> after the nominations were announced. \u201cBeing nominated in these categories with my friends means the world to me. Entertainer of the Year?! Absolutely surreal. We bust our butts on the road every night to give yall the best show & I have the time of my life doing it. All I gotta say is thank yall. I love country music.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wilson also made CMA Awards history as the only artist to top the nominations list in her first two appearances on the final ballot. In 2022, her first year as a nominee, she was the top artist with six nods<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Who Is Hosting the 2023 CMA Awards? <\/strong><\/h3>\n

NFL legend Peyton Manning<\/strong><\/a> and country icon Luke Bryan<\/strong><\/a> are cohosting the event for the second year in a row<\/a>. \u201cYou know Peyton, hosting the CMA Awards with you was truly something special,\u201d Bryan, 47, said in an October teaser for the gig<\/a>, to which Manning, 47, replied, \u201cLuke, it was the stuff of legends.\u201d The twosome proceeded to ride fake horses and pretended to head toward a sunset before agreeing to return as the emcees.<\/p>\n

Which Singers Are Nominated for a 2023 CMA Award?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In addition to Wilson, the top nominees for the 2023 awards show are Jelly Roll<\/strong> with five nods, Luke Combs<\/strong><\/a> and HARDY<\/strong><\/a> with four each and Jordan Davis<\/strong>, Ashley McBryde<\/strong>, Chris Stapleton<\/strong><\/a> and Morgan Wallen<\/strong><\/a> all up for three awards.<\/p>\n

The biggest category of the night, Entertainer of the Year, puts Wilson up against Combs, 33, Stapleton, 45, Wallen, 30, and Carrie Underwood<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Who Are the Top 2023 CMA Awards Performers? <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Bryan, Stapleton, Wilson, Jelly Roll, 38, K. Michelle<\/strong>, Little Big Town, Megan Moroney<\/strong>, Old Dominion, Carly Pearce<\/strong><\/a> and Tanya Tucker<\/strong> were all announced in the first round of performers. ABC revealed on November 1 that Kelsea Ballerini<\/strong><\/a>, Jordan Davis<\/strong>, Cody Johnson<\/strong>, Dan + Shay, The War and Treaty, McBryde, 40, and HARDY, 33, will also take the stage.<\/p>\n

Post Malone<\/strong><\/a> will join the star-studded lineup alongside HARDY and Wallen for a \u201ccounty classics medley,\u201d according to the network\u2019s press site<\/a>.<\/p>\n
