Days later, she <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.etonline.com\/julia-louis-dreyfus-reveals-breast-cancer-diagnosis-plea-universal-healthcare-88223\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">shared her diagnosis with the world<\/a><span> in a tweet, writing,\u00a0&#8220;One in eight\u00a0women get\u00a0breast cancer. Today, I&#8217;m the one.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The announcement continued, \u00a0&#8220;The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends, and fantastic insurance through my union. The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let&#8217;s fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to a new interview for\u00a0<\/span><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/style\/julia-louis-dreyfus-seinfeld-veep-e73616bc\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WSJ. Magazine<\/a><span> &#8212;\u00a0<\/span><\/em><span>by which she&#8217;s been named Entertainment Innovator of the Year &#8212; the actress reacts to hearing the diagnosis first with laughter, then by tears.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>&#8220;I mean, it felt like it was written.
