Captain Sandy<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s time on Mustique is called into question after an injury.<\/p>\n

Bravo offered a glimpse at an upcoming episode on Monday, October 30, where Luka Brunton<\/strong> accidentally causes Sandy to break her wrist. The captain is helping Luka with a paddleboard in the clip when she trips and falls back.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m f\u2014king s\u2014tting myself. I f\u2014king broke Captain Sandy\u2019s wrist,\u201d Luka says in a confessional as Sandy is seen leaving on a tender boat presumably to seek medical help.<\/a><\/p>\n

Earlier in the trailer, Sandy meets with Natalya Scudder<\/strong>, who expresses her concerns about remaining on the boat<\/a>, saying, \u201cI just don\u2019t think mentally I\u2019m doing well on the boat.\u201d The interior team is facing more issues behind closed doors with Kyle Viljoen<\/strong> calling Jessika Asai<\/strong> out for comments<\/a> she made without his knowledge.<\/p>\n

The left side of my body, I don\u2019t feel anything,\u201d he explained in a December 2022 episode. \u201cI expected a lot more progress than I\u2019m experiencing, and the most frustrating part about it is, I can\u2019t do a god goddamn thing about it, and it\u2019s hard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lee was temporarily replaced by Sandy before he returned<\/a> ahead of the season finale. As new episodes of the show aired earlier this year, Lee surprised viewers when he questioned Sandy\u2019s leadership<\/a>, specifically her decision to not alert him about Camille Lamb<\/strong>\u2018s firing.<\/p>\n

Sandy, however, defended her decision by pointing out that she was in charge while Lee was dealing with his health<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Viewers were introduced to Lee during the first season of Below Deck in 2013.\u00a0Sandy, for her part, became a household name for Bravo fans when she took over for Captain Mark Howard on [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI just can\u2019t believe there was a thing about it. The reality is when you\u2019re on a boat and someone\u2019s sick in the hospital, as a captain you\u2019re not gonna call them up and say, \u2018Can I fire someone?\u2019 You don\u2019t need permission. You\u2019re actually in command,\u201d she exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> in June. \u201cSo I did call after and said, \u2018Here\u2019s what\u2019s happened.\u2019 You always wanna have that respect. After season 10 finished airing, Sandy claimed she attempted to get in contact with Lee<\/a>. \u201cI did reach out to him a few times. He just had to call me back,\u201d Sandy noted. \u201cIf I see him, it wouldn\u2019t be a conversation because he understands. If he was in my shoes, he would\u2019ve done the same thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added: \u201cYou show up for captains. When one of my parents died, I had a friend and I needed to deliver our boat. He stepped in for me while I went to my mom\u2019s funeral. We step in for each other. That\u2019s what captains do. We have each other\u2019s back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandy has faced just as much drama on season 8 of Below Deck Med<\/em><\/a>. Ahead of her health scare, Sandy attempted to help mend Natalya and Tumi Mhlongo<\/strong>\u2018s feud<\/a> without getting too involved. The stews were at odds since Natalya temporarily took over for Tumi and subsequently wasn\u2019t thrilled by the response to her hard work.<\/a><\/p>\n
