No bad blood here! While Julia Fox<\/strong><\/a> may have dated Kanye West<\/strong><\/a> only a year after his divorce from Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a>, the actress has nothing but love for the SKIMS \u200bcofounder and reality star. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair<\/em><\/a> about her new memoir, Julia gushed about Kim.<\/p>\n \u201cI actually really love her,\u201d Julia, 33, \u200bsays of Kim, 43. \u201cI grew up watching Keeping Up With the Kardashians<\/em> and I actually liked it before they were even cool\u2026and when people would bash her I would always go to bat for her. And I thought she \u200bf\u2014king killed it in American Horror Story<\/em> so she is a multi-talented queen.\u201d<\/p>\n When asked if Julia felt like Kim was ever inspired by her at all, Julia replied, \u201cI would say that there have been some looks that are a little similar to mine, but I feel like, you know, it\u2019s just like what\u2019s trending, but I don\u2019t know if I\u2019m, like, on her mood board or anything like that.\u201d<\/p>\n Julia first wowed audiences after her performance in the Safdie Brothers\u2019 film, Uncut Gems<\/em>, but it wasn\u2019t long before she was also making headlines due to her relationship with Kanye, 46. Julie and Kanye dated in January and February of 2022, a year after Kanye\u2019s divorce from Kim. The actress, who recently appeared as a guest on The Drew Barrymore Show<\/em>,<\/a> said she never expected her relationship with Kanye to get as much attention as it did.<\/p>\n Speaking with Drew Barrymore<\/strong>, Julia said, \u201cI just embraced it. I was like, \u2018Ok, I\u2019ll do the fashion, I\u2019ll wear the clothes, I\u2019ll do what he says.’\u201d<\/p>\n Even though Julia told interviewers about her love for Kim, she admits in her memoir, Down the Drain<\/em>, that Kim played a role in the demise of her relationship with Kanye. In the book, Julia wrote, \u201cHe tells me he had a good conversation with his soon-to-be-ex-wife and discovered a lot of information about me.\u201d<\/p>\n Julia also added that Kanye, who she only refers to as \u201cthe Artist\u201d in the memoir, told her that he \u201cdidn\u2019t know she was a drug addict,\u201d and even implied that she had \u201cduped him.\u201d<\/p>\n However, it wasn\u2019t just Kim that caused Julia\u2019s relationship to crumble. She compared dating Kanye to having another baby to take care of, along with her then 1-year-old son, Valentino, who she shares with \u200bher ex-husband, Peter Artemiev.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was so overwhelming and so unsustainable \u2026 because ultimately, I cannot put anybody else first. My son has to be first,\u201d Julia said during the October 18 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show<\/em>. \u201cIt just became too much. I didn\u2019t sign up to have two babies. I couldn\u2019t do it. It felt like two babies.\u201d<\/p>\n Regardless of how much Julia says she admires Kim, the feelings likely aren\u2019t mutual. A source exclusively revealed to Life & Style<\/em><\/a>, \u201cKim likes to protect Kanye\u2019s image \u2014 even after their split and all the unflattering things he\u2019s said about her \u2014 because of their kids and because she knows what\u2019s said about him lives on the internet forever.\u201d<\/p>\n The source continued, \u201cSo of course she doesn\u2019t like Julia talking about him in her book. It\u2019s humiliating for Kanye, but also humiliating for Kim.
