The latter should be thankful for this.<span class=\"image-caption-credit\"> (TLC)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>When Meri suggested the pair go out to dinner, Kody told her he was watching the kids and would have to check with Robyn.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI need a minute to think, I needed a reason to be able to say no in the event I just didn\u2019t think it wasn\u2019t the right thing for me to do,\u201d Kody admitted in a confessional, although the two <em>did<\/em> end up out together.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt one point he made some reference to faking relationships or something like that. Your life is not one I want to insert myself into.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She said this remark was \u201cvery painful to me\u201d and, in the moment, she felt her \u201cheart speeding up\u201d as she felt he \u201cpromised\u201d to be there for her forever.<\/p>\n<p>She continued:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe actually said to me \u2018I have no desire, Meri, to have a relationship with you.\u2019 This is the first time he\u2019s ever said this to me, ever.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLike, our marriage is done.
