Trudie Styler<\/a>, 69, since he made a boast about them in 1990, but says he never tires of being asked about it.<\/p>\nHe told The Sydney Morning Herald in an interview printed on Wednesday (08.02.23) about being quizzed on his sex boast: \u201cI don\u2019t mind that at all \u2013 it\u2019s very healthy. We didn\u2019t discuss sex ever with my parents. <\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m fortunate in many, many respects, and having my health at this age is something I don\u2019t take for granted. <\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve lost a lot of friends that didn\u2019t make it this far, so I appreciate every day as it comes.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSting \u2013 real name Gordon Thomas, who married Trudie in 1992 \u2013 previously clarified his famous sex claim during an interview for Bravo\u2019s \u2018Inside the Actor\u2019s Studio\u2019 series.<\/p>\n
\nHe said on the show in 2014: \u201cThe idea of tantric sex is a spiritual act. I don\u2019t know any purer and better way of expressing a love for another individual than sharing that wonderful, I call it, \u2018sacrament\u2019.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI would stand by it. Not seven hours, but the idea.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe also joked: \u201cSeven hours includes movie and dinner.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nIn 2011, Trudie said her husband\u2019s claim about their sex life was a drunken boast, but even though she dismissed the idea they were \u201cdoing it all day long\u201d, she stopped short of saying he had lied about the yoga-related practice. <\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cSting said that 21 years ago. He has just turned 60, and I imagine (stories about it) will carry on going until he drops.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cDo you know who I blame for that? Bob Geldof. Him and Sting had gone to do an interview with a rock journalist, and the interview turned into a drinking session.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAt one point, the journalist asked how long they could go for, and Geldof said he was a three-minute man, but, as Sting did yoga, he could probably go for hours. And Sting said, \u2018Well, haven\u2019t you heard of tantric sex?\u2019<\/p>\n
\n\u201cSo Sting explained that it is all about being intimate, about caring for your partner, really engaging in intimacy before you, you know… have sex. And that\u2019s the premise of tantra, really. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt\u2019s simply engagement with your partner.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
