Rachel Recchia<\/strong><\/a> is contemplating undergoing breast reduction surgery<\/a> \u2014 and she hopes the results will completely \u201cchange\u201d her daily life.<\/p>\n \u201cOK, this is kind of a really big deal for me, but I wanted to come on here and ask if there are any women \u2014 or what women have experienced getting a breast reduction<\/a>?\u201d Recchia, 26, said while seeking advice in a Tuesday, February 7, TikTok<\/a> video. \u201cI have been in the process of going through my insurance and [to get] the surgery done.\u201d<\/p>\n The former Bachelorette<\/a> revealed that she\u2019s thought about the surgery since she was 17 years old, adding that she might schedule the operation for the beginning of March.<\/p>\n \u201cI truly think that the surgery is going to absolutely change my life,\u201d Recchia \u2014 who split from ex-fianc\u00e9 Tino Franco<\/strong><\/a> shortly after getting engaged d<\/a>uring the season 19 finale of\u00a0The Bachelorette\u00a0<\/i>\u2014 explained in her TikTok video. \u201cNot only in the way that I\u2019m able to exercise and not have pain, but every woman I\u2019ve met who\u2019s gotten the surgery<\/a> has said it\u2019s absolutely changed their life.\u201d<\/p>\n The pilot further noted that she\u2019s been a \u201ccrazy person\u201d trying to scour the internet for medical advice<\/a> about the procedure and any post-operative gear she\u2019ll need for recovery.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is a huge deal for me. I\u2019m really excited but I\u2019m super, super nervous,\u201d Recchia said, noting that her Bachelor Nation pal and roommate Genevieve Parisi<\/strong> <\/a>will help take care of her after the surgery.<\/p>\n The Florida native explained in the comments section of her TikTok that she has been researching the procedure<\/a> since she was a teenager.<\/p>\n \u201cI started looking into it at 17 \u2014 just now getting it at 26 but wish I did it at 17,\u201d she revealed, telling her followers that she thinks it will be worthwhile to have the reduction done before she starts having children<\/a>.\u00a0\u201cI always support anyone doing what makes them happy or improves their quality of life\u00a0\ud83d\udc95<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n The\u00a0Bachelor\u00a0<\/i>season 26<\/a> finalist starred opposite Gabby Windey<\/strong><\/a> during their joint season of\u00a0The Bachelorette<\/i>, which aired\u00a0<\/i>last year. While Recchia and Windey became close pals during Clayton Echard<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s Bachelor<\/a> <\/i>journey, the flight instructor was always aware of the physical differences<\/a> between herself and the Dancing With the Stars<\/a> <\/i>alum, 31.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have different body types, too, and everything we wore was so different,\u201d Recchia told\u00a0PopSugar<\/a>\u00a0<\/i>in July 2022. \u201cIt was really cool that we got to express two different styles.\u201d<\/p>\n The women both ended their season engaged \u2014 Recchia to Franco, 28, and Windey to Erich Schwer<\/strong> <\/a>\u2014 but both couples have since called it quits<\/a>. Through their unique Bachelorette <\/i>experience, the leads never felt like they were competing for the contestants\u2019 attention.<\/p>\n \u201cIf people are talking about pitting us against each other, it never came from the inside,\u201d Recchia exclusively told\u00a0Us Weekly\u00a0<\/i>in August 2022.<\/a> \u201cGabby and I never felt like having our boys in two separate parts of the boat pitted us against each other. We always had open communication. We always put each other first.
