Goosebumps<\/em> proves that creating a successful TV adaptation is all about incorporating the source material<\/a> while still putting an original spin on the story.<\/p>\n The spooky series, which is streaming on Disney+ and Hulu, is the newest take on R. L. Stine<\/strong>\u2018s iconic book franchise<\/a>. Goosebumps<\/em> follows five teenagers who must work together<\/a> after accidentally releasing supernatural forces. While trying to recapture the evil spirits, the group unlocks secrets into their parents\u2019 past.<\/p>\n The newest approach to developing Stine\u2019s vision hopes to satisfy lifelong fans while also catering to a broader audience.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cThe brilliance of the Goosebumps books is that when you\u2019re reading them at that age, you feel like you\u2019re reading something that is a little bit too old for you. [You feel like] you shouldn\u2019t be looking at that. That was important to us when we developed the show,\u201d executive producer Pavun Shetty<\/strong> exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> in October 2023. \u201cWe wanted to take those iconic stories that are R.L.
