\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Jacob Elordi<\/strong><\/a> brings Elvis Presley<\/strong><\/a> to life in Sofia Coppola<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s new movie Priscilla<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, but it turns out that he didn\u2019t know much about the King of Rock before he was offered the role.<\/p>\n The 26-year-old Euphoria <\/em>actor admitted that Elvis <\/strong>wasn\u2019t someone he had ever imagined playing, adding that the experience was \u201ca little bit terrifying\u201d while on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em>.<\/p>\n Part of that might stem from the fact that he wasn\u2019t an Elvis<\/strong> fan. If you forgot, Lilo was a huge fan of Elvis<\/strong> in the animated Disney movie and even dressed her pet Stitch up as the King. <\/p>\n He continued, reflecting on his audition, which he did not expect to nail. <\/p>\n \u201cSofia<\/strong> had sent me these sides that said Elvis<\/strong>, and I just of just was like, \u2018There\u2019s just no chance that this is happening,\u2019\u201d he recalled. \u201cSo I watched this clip of him when he came back from the army in Germany. And I read the lines for like 15 minutes and then shot two takes and, you know, not thinking that it would go anywhere.\u201d <\/p>\n Clearly, something resonated! <\/p>\n Priscilla<\/em> hits theaters on Friday, November 3rd.
