Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em><\/a> fans could cut the tension between Kyle Richards<\/strong><\/a> and Mauricio Umansky<\/strong><\/a> with a knife during the Bravo show\u2019s season 13 premiere<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At the end of the Wednesday, October 25, episode Kyle, 54, revealed to Mauricio, 53, that she had gotten two more tattoos \u2014 totaling five \u2014 which led to an awkward argument between them.<\/p>\n

\u201cSeriously? I only knew of three,\u201d Mauricio told his wife. Kyle hit back, saying, \u201cWell maybe you should be looking at my body closer.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Agency founder said that she has \u201cenough\u201d tattoos. Kyle, however, revealed her plans to maybe \u201cget another one.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tReal Housewives of Beverly Hills couple Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have shared insight into their sudden split after 27 years of marriage. Us Weekly confirmed in July 2023 that the couple were taking time apart. \u201cKyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while, but are still currently living together,\u201d a source revealed at [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cFive tattoos is a lot,\u201d Mauricio continued. \u201cI will not allow that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kyle responded, \u201cYou didn\u2019t even know how many I had. \u2026 If I want one I\u2019m going to get one. It\u2019s my body.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Mauricio continued to dissuade her from getting any more ink designs, Kyle told her husband that he doesn\u2019t \u201chave a choice.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m at a point in my life where I don\u2019t have to explain anything to anybody anymore. Including you\u201d Kyle added. \u201cI went from doing everything my mom told me to do to being a mom myself and having to be a good example to my girls and I just realized you can do all that and things can still go to s\u2014t.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed in July that Kyle and Mauricio had separated after 27 years of marriage<\/a>. That same month, the Bravo stars \u2014 who have been married since 1996 \u2014 have denied rumors that they\u2019re getting a divorce but shared that they went through a \u201crough patch.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Fans have speculated that one of Kyle\u2019s tattoos, a heart on her wrist, is matching with country singer Morgan Wade<\/strong><\/a>. Kyle also inked a \u201cK\u201d onto Morgan in the RHOBH<\/em> trailer. Morgan and Kyle have both denied<\/a> that they\u2019re anything more than friends.<\/p>\n

Mauricio told Us<\/em> earlier this month that he and Kyle are still \u201cworking on\u201d their relationship<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re in the middle of dealing with our life and our marriage and we have not thrown in the towel,\u201d he told Us<\/em>. \u201cIt\u2019s hard in the public eye and it\u2019s hard while everybody\u2019s asking because the reality is that when a couple\u2019s going through the times that we\u2019re going through right now, what you need is time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Their marriage struggles<\/a> will be chronicled on RHOBH<\/em> season 13, which filmed earlier this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cMau and I have had a challenging year together. He has been working nonstop, I\u2019ve been working,\u201d Kyle admitted in her confessional during Wednesday\u2019s premiere. \u201cWhen you have to schedule a meeting to go over your schedule, you know it\u2019s a problem.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richards and Umansky opened up about experiencing \u201ca rough year\u201d in their marriage via a joint Instagram statement in July 2023. The pair also seemingly addressed fan speculation regarding the nature [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kyle went on to say that she\u2019s going through a \u201cpainful\u201d time in her life, in part, because she feels \u201cdisconnected\u201d from Mauricio.<\/p>\n

Kyle said the tattoo argument is \u201ca big symptom of not spending time together\u201d during her confessional. \u201cYears ago he would have noticed a freckle on body and now he doesn\u2019t know that I have two more tattoos.\u201d<\/p>\n

During their argument Kyle said she doesn\u2019t \u201chave to answer to anybody\u201d anymore.<\/p>\n
