Looks like Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> may have found his good luck charm in Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Kansas City Chief tight end, 34, has produced more than twice the yards received when Swift was in attendance, 34, according to a graphic shown by CBS<\/a> during the Sunday, October 22, game versus the Los Angeles Chargers<\/a>. When Swift was in the bleachers, Kelce gained 99 yards per game versus 46.5 when he\u2019s \u201cleft to his own devices,\u201d (a not-so-subtle reference to her song \u201cAnti-Hero\u201d).<\/p>\n

Swift has made an appearance at four of Kelce\u2019s NFL games this season. The \u201cLover\u201d singer first attended a game<\/a> at Arrowhead Stadium when the Chiefs played the Chicago Bears in September, where she made her connection public with Kelce.<\/p>\n

With Swift in the stands, the Chiefs have taken home the win every time \u2014 winning 41-10 against the Bears, 23-20 versus the New York Jets, 19-8 against the Denver Broncos and 31-17 versus the Chargers.<\/p>\n

Since her debut, the NFL has made Swift a focal point of its coverage. After a so-called \u201cmedia frenzy\u201d<\/a> surrounded her appearances, the Thursday Night Football production team even had a meeting to discuss<\/a> their plans ahead of the Broncos game.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTaylor Swift has loved being the girl in the bleachers amid her blossoming romance with Travis Kelce. The \u201cAnti-Hero\u201d singer made her first appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game in September 2023, watching them defeat the Chicago Bears from the Kelce family\u2019s private suite. After cheering alongside the tight end\u2019s mom, Donna Kelce, she [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cOur crew talked about it this morning,\u201d sports broadcaster Al Michaels<\/strong>, who works with Prime Video and NBC Sports for Thursday Night Football, said prior to the game earlier this month. \u201cYou can\u2019t make a sideshow the show. The vast majority of the audience are tuning in to watch a football game. There are people, I don\u2019t know how many, it could be a sizable number, but it\u2019s certainly not a majority, that if you trained the camera on her all night long, they\u2019d be satisfied with that. This is not what we\u2019re doing [sic] to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Michaels, 78, said that the network planned on doing \u201ceverything in moderation\u201d regarding showing Swift during the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere might be an appropriate shot or a couple. I don\u2019t know what the number is going to be,\u201d he told the outlet. \u201cIf Kelce scores six touchdowns, who the hell knows what we\u2019re going to do. But for the most part, just in moderation. The game is still the important element here, by far. That\u2019s our thought. After that, you sort of make it, one of my favorite words, \u2018farcical.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The move to showcase Swift during these games has caught the attention of celebrities including Kelly Clarkson<\/a><\/strong>, who compared the coverage to watching The Real Housewives<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not hilarious how it is literally taking over the NFL for people that like watching sports now,\u201d Clarkson, 41, said during an October 20 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

After making their romance known, the pair have been spotted out to dinner<\/a> twice in New York City and even made surprise cameos<\/a> on Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/a> earlier this month.<\/p>\n
