Sinitta thought there was a chance with Simon Cowell until he become a dad<\/p>\n

The \u2018So Macho\u2019 hitmaker confessed there was always a spark with the 64-year-old \u2018America\u2019s Got Talent\u2019 boss – who she dated for the first time in 1983 – but it was fully extinguished when he welcomed his son Eric, now nine, with his long-term love Lauren Silverman<\/a>, 46, who she considers a great pal now.<\/p>\n

The 59-year-old singer told the UK edition of Closer magazine: \u201cThere was always an element of, \u2018Well, it\u2019s never really over,\u2019 but when Eric was born that was it. I would never come between his family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sinitta<\/a> – who was previously married Andy Willner between 2002 and 2009 and is mum to adopted 17-year-old twins Zac and Magdalena – went on to reveal she isn’t bothered about her past relationships because she recently fell in love and is more focused on \u201cpleasure\u201d than ever before.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cI\u2019m dating someone! I\u2019m trying to keep secret about it, but I\u2019m so happy. I\u2019ve been dating him since April. I fell in love with my best friend.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cI actually feel more confident and happier than I\u2019ve been in my life because I\u2019m not self-conscious and I know what I want sexually. I know how to get what I want sexually. I know how to get what I want and how to ask for it, I\u2019m not afraid, and I\u2019m not just that people pleaser – I\u2019m someone who wants pleasure for myself in all things.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nSinitta also confessed she worried her sex life was over after going through the menopause, but she’s happy to say it’s now back on track.<\/p>\n

\nShe said: \u201cWith menopause, I thought I was dying, that my cooch was dead, and my life was over. And you know what? The vagina is not dead – it\u2019s all still there. I feel like I\u2019m finally learning what sex is! I think my generation grew up at a time where it was about pleasing men and being seen as someone who was pleasurable.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cAnd you know what, I\u2019ve learnt that men actually have a better time when you\u2019re genuinely happy, you don\u2019t just have to feed their ego.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
