Jessel Taank<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s Real Housewives of New York City<\/em><\/a> costars couldn\u2019t stop talking about her husband\u2019s mileage run to Vietnam, but he has no regrets \u2014 and he had a blast.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got a few good sandwiches,\u201d Pavit Randhawa<\/strong><\/a> exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> on Tuesday, October 17. \u201cI ate an absurd amount of food. I think I was there for 30 hours and I had a lot of food.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jessel and Pavit\u2019s costars were perplexed by the idea of flying solo to Vietnam to rack up frequent flier miles, but Jessel said it\u2019s not unusual for Pavit<\/a> to travel alone. \u201cHe went to Panama by himself too,\u201d she told Us<\/em>. \u201cHe travels a lot by himself.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on to say that she feels like her costars\u2019 confusion highlights their own \u201cinsecurity\u201d rather than any real problems in her marriage. \u201cIf the first thing that goes to people\u2019s minds is, \u2018Oh, well, there\u2019s something shady going on,\u2019 it\u2019s weird,\u201d she said. \u201cI feel like in society that\u2019s what we\u2019re almost programmed to assume, which is so disappointing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some of Jessel\u2019s castmates insinuated that Pavit was traveling alone to cheat on his wife with sex workers, but he told Us<\/em> he was offended by those remarks.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never in my life heard of people going to Vietnam for sexual tourism,\u201d he said. \u201cAssociating any South Asian country for that is like, \u2018OK, that\u2019s weird.\u2019 Vietnam is probably one of the most beautiful countries. The food\u2019s amazing. We\u2019ve been there a couple times. \u2026 It\u2019s a beautiful country. The people are amazing. So to associate that with this is really weird.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jessel, for her part, noted that she and Pavit \u201clive a very unstructured life\u201d together.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are two individuals that are married, but I am happily doing my stuff<\/a> and he is very happily doing his stuff,\u201d she explained. \u201cIf he wants to do something, I will never hold him back, because that\u2019s when I think you start seeing friction in relationships, is when you start being controlling or stifling his character, his personality or his passion to travel and do stuff. So, I\u2019ve always been very supportive and vice versa. If I\u2019m like, \u2018I need to go on a girls trip,\u2019 he might give me some trouble for five minutes, but at the end of the day, I\u2019m going to do what I want to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pavit went on to say that Jessel often \u201cpushes\u201d him out of the house to go on boys trips \u2014 which she confirmed. \u201cLet me tell you, it\u2019s a vacation,\u201d Jessel joked. \u201cIt\u2019s a great downtime for both of us.\u201d<\/p>\n
