Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> was once offered the opportunity to fulfill one of her childhood dreams \u2014 becoming a Spice Girl<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Recalling how she once performed as Victoria Beckham<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s Posh Spice for a talent show, Kardashian, 42, revealed that Spice Girls member Melanie Chisholm<\/strong><\/a> (a.k.a. Mel C) once asked her to fill the fashionista\u2019s shoes on tour.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey asked me if I would be her part. Mel C asked me,\u201d Kim told a group of friends while attending a soccer game with their kids in London during the new episode of The Kardashians<\/em><\/a>, which started streaming on Thursday, October 19.<\/p>\n

The opportunity to join the legendary girl group is something Kim says her daughter North<\/a>, 10, didn\u2019t want her to her pass up. \u201cCan you imagine? North is like, \u2018Do it, mom!\u2019\u201d Kim added. (The reality star also shares kids Saint<\/a>, 7, Chicago<\/a>, 5, and Psalm<\/a>, 4, with ex-husband Kanye West<\/strong><\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tGoing their separate ways. Back in 1994, the Spice Girls were the epitome of female empowerment and friendship. However, the ladies\u2019 once-tight bond seemingly hit a snag after the group disbanded and they all tackled solo careers. The Spice Girls \u2014 comprised of Geri Halliwell\u00a0(Ginger Spice),\u00a0Victoria Beckham\u00a0(Posh Spice),\u00a0Mel B (Scary Spice),\u00a0Melanie Chisholm\u00a0(Sporty Spice) and\u00a0Emma Bunton\u00a0(Baby [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kim elaborated on Mel C\u2019s invitation in a confessional, stating, \u201cSporty Spice wrote a book<\/a> and she signed it inside and she sent it to me. It said they were going on tour and they needed a Posh and would I be the Posh? I am sure she was joking but when I was in high school would I ever have thought that this was like a thing? I am just a girl from high school who loves the Spice Girls and now they are asking me?\u201d<\/p>\n

Mel C, 49, opened up about her experience rising to fame as a member of the Spice Girls in her September 2022 memoir, The Sporty One: My Life as a Spice Girl<\/em><\/a>. The book was released three years after she and fellow members Geri Halliwell<\/strong><\/a> (Ginger Spice), Melanie Brown<\/strong><\/a>, a.k.a. Mel B (Scary Spice) and Emma Bunton<\/strong><\/a> (Baby Spice) reunited for a 2019 U.K. summer tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Beckham, also 49, did not participate due to her busy schedule running her self-titled fashion label. Ahead of the group\u2019s first performance in May 2019, she shared a sweet message<\/a> for her bandmates via Instagram<\/a>. \u201cGood luck to the girls today as they start their tour! x VB,\u201d she captioned a pic of the group\u2019s iconic 1997 Brit Awards<\/a> performance.<\/p>\n

Based on the note Mel C wrote Kim in her book, the singer may have hinted at a possible upcoming reunion as the group has not joined forces on stage since their 2019 tour. Not to mention, the band is set to celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2024.<\/p>\n

Victoria, for her part, fueled reunion rumors earlier this year via TikTok<\/a> by singing along to \u201cSay You\u2019ll Be There\u201d during a karaoke night with her husband, David Beckham<\/strong><\/a>. \u201cWarming up the vocals in Miami! More to come \ud83e\udd2b!! \ud83c\udfb6\ud83c\udfa4,\u201d she teased in the July video.<\/p>\n
