Jada Pinkett Smith has been slammed by \u2018The View\u2019 host Alyssa Farah Griffin for revealing her and Will Smith\u2019s marriage secrets<\/p>\n
The actress, 52, has just published her autobiography \u2018Worthy\u2019 in which she told the world she and Will, 55, have been secretly separate for seven years, and Alyssa, 34, said she had no idea why the star didn\u2019t want to \u201cprotect\u201d their privacy. <\/p>\n
She said on the \u2018Behind the Table\u2019 podcast about Jada: \u201cI think she needs to be more in tune with (Will\u2019s) feelings.\u201d<\/p>\n
The former White House press secretary also hit out at Jada for refusing to file for divorce despite saying she was leading a separate life from her estranged husband. <\/p>\n
She added: \u201cIt\u2019s also OK to admit a marriage didn\u2019t work. That\u2019s what I guess I\u2019m struck by, like, if you\u2019re dating other people, you\u2019re not doing any of the things that are \u2018marriage,\u2019 why not just go ahead (and file for divorce.) <\/p>\n
\n\u201cThere shouldn\u2019t be a stigma to divorce.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nAlyssa admitted being a co-host on \u2018The View\u2019 sometimes demands she shares details about her personal life, but she said she makes an effort to \u201ccheck\u201d her instincts. <\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cI would never say something that would hurt my husband or that would embarrass him or that would put him in an uncomfortable position.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nAlyssa\u2019s fellow \u2018View\u2019 host Ana Navarro, 51, last week said Jada should not have divulged so many intimate details about her marriage and accused the mum-of-two from profiting from her fractured family. <\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cI think she\u2019s having a relationship with her bank account because every time she needs to increase the ratings of the \u2018Red Table Talk\u2019 (Jada\u2019s talk show), every time she needs to sell books, she drops these bombshells. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cI find it unseemly and I will tell you this, \u2018Be careful of anybody who pretends to have a perfect marriage.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n
\nBut Will seems unbothered by his estranged wife\u2019s tell-all book and press interviews to promote the autobiography. <\/p>\n
\nOn Tuesday (17.10.23) he posted a video of himself on Instagram titled \u2018OFFICIAL STATEMENT\u2019, suggesting the revelations were meaningless compared to the size of the universe. <\/p>\n
\nThe clip started with him sitting in a living room saying: \u201cI got something for you, here\u2019s my opinion on the\u2026\u201d . <\/p>\n
\nHe then pretended to sneeze and the camera zoomed out and out until it was nearly above the Earth. <\/p>\n
\nAnd earlier this week, the \u2018Men in Black\u2019 star posted another Instagram video of himself, showing the actor sleeping on a boat with the caption: \u201cNotifications off :).\u201d <\/p>\n
\nJada commented on it by posting crying-with-laughter emojis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
