The former TV host, who has been trolled for posting so-called \u2018thirst trap\u2019 photos on her social media despite the fact she\u2019s aged 82, added she doesn\u2019t think about ageing and refuses to comply with anyone\u2019s idea of how older people should behave or dress. <\/p>\n
She told Page Six Style when asked if she has any plans to change her wardrobe as she ages: \u201cDressing for whose age? I don\u2019t think about age. I think people are more and more and more (fabulous) than they\u2019re ever been in their senior years, and I applaud every one of them.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mum-of-one Martha, who was a former teen model and whose daughter is broadcaster Alexis Stewart, 58, added: \u201cI\u2019ve dressed the same since I was 17.\u201d<\/p>\n
She also insisted: \u201cIf you look at my pictures on my Instagram, I look pretty much the same.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nIt comes after she shrugged off criticism over the summer for sinking a \u201csmall iceberg\u201d into her cocktail on a cruise from Greenland from Iceland. <\/p>\n
\nShe showed off her drink on an Instagram Story during her holiday, sparking massive backlash from fans of her use of pieces of naturally formed bergs in her booze amid the climate change crisis that has seen wildfires sweep the globe. <\/p>\n
\nMartha was accused of posting a \u201ctone deaf\u201d update on her social media in August by bragging about her use of the ice during a Swan Hellenic cruise on the SH Vega expedition ship. <\/p>\n
\nShe captioned a carousel of photos of her break on social media: \u201cEnd of the first zodiac cruise… into a very beautiful fjord on the east coast of Greenland. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe actually captured a small iceberg for our cocktails tonight.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nHer post included a snap of chunks of ice on a drinks cart and others toasting with their drinks. <\/p>\n
\nDespite being slammed for their use of the ice, Martha hit back on Instagram by posting an image of an iceberg with the caption: \u201cPleated iceberg. perfect for cocktails!\u201d <\/p>\n
\nShe also reposted a Washington Post article with the headline, \u2018Martha Stewart put an iceberg in her drink. Experts say it\u2019s no big deal\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
