And it worked!)<\/p>\n<p>Britney did eventually have an abortion rather than become a teenage mother. According to her book, Justin pushed for that. Rest assured, fans are making guesses, but they\u2019re only guesses.<\/p>\n<p>Britney\u2019s reasoning is sound. The woman in question now has a family of her own, and it\u2019s been a couple of decades. Britney doesn\u2019t want to humiliate this woman \u2014 who was, after all, not the cheater. Hardly as memorable as the Britney song that we\u2019re about to talk about.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Justin said that he wrote the song following a heated argument with Britney. Even the book will leave things out \u2014 due to personal considerations (like not naming \u201cthe other woman\u201d) but also legal ones.<\/p>\n<p>Britney and her publisher, <em>Simon &amp; Schuster<\/em>, will certainly have worked to avoid potentially libelous statements. Even things that Britney knows for a fact happened might become omissions in the book if she can\u2019t win a libel suit.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Woman In Me<\/em> is not, as the title might suggest, about pegging \u2014 but we\u2019re excited to read it nonetheless.
