Erin Andrews<\/strong><\/a> and Charissa Thompson<\/strong> are patting themselves on the back for their part in setting up Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> with Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n During her appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers<\/em> on Monday, October 16, Erin, 45, shared her thoughts on the romance between Taylor, 33, and Travis, 34 \u2014 which she and Charissa, 41, encouraged during an August episode of their podcast, \u201cCalm Down with Erin and Charissa.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cTravis was very open about not getting to meet her,\u201d Erin said of Travis\u2019 failed attempt to give Taylor a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it<\/a> at her Eras tour stop in Kansas City on July 7. \u201cAnd so we were just being really candid because we love him. We\u2019re good friends of his and we just were like, \u2018Taylor, date this guy. I mean he\u2019s good looking.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Erin added, \u201cHe\u2019s just such a great, great guy. And so we threw it out there and they got together.\u201d<\/p>\n After hearing about Travis\u2019 attempt to meet Taylor, which the NFL star spoke about on his \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast with brother Jason Kelce<\/strong>, Erin and Charissa took matters into their own hands by begging Taylor to give Travis a chance.<\/p>\n \u201cPlease try our friend Travis. He is fantastic,\u201d Erin said during an August episode of their \u201cCalm Down\u201d podcast. \u201cThis is the one Taylor, I know we\u2019re not the best of friends, we\u2019re not even friends, but I consider you one. Take us up on this. Go on a date with this guy. Do it for America.\u201d<\/p>\n
