Millie Bobby Brown<\/a><\/strong> said that Stranger Things<\/a><\/em><\/strong> is preventing her from adding other projects to her schedule, comparing it to the final years of high school.<\/p>\n Brown, named one of Glamour<\/em>\u2018s 2023 Women of the Year, told the magazine she\u2019s ready to move on as the show approaches its fifth and final season.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen you\u2019re ready, you\u2019re like, \u2018All right, let\u2019s do this. Let\u2019s tackle this last senior year. Let\u2019s get out of here,’\u201d she told Glamour<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cStranger Things<\/em> takes up a lot of time to film and it\u2019s preventing me from creating stories that I\u2019m passionate about,\u201d she continued. \u201cSo I\u2019m ready to say, \u2018Thank you, and goodbye.’\u201d<\/p>\n Stranger Things<\/em> star David Harbour<\/a><\/strong> said in March that filming for the series was initially slated to begin in June 2023. However, showrunners Matt<\/strong> and Ross Duffer<\/strong> announced in May that production would be on hold until the WGA strike ended. While the WGA reached a deal with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) in September, actors are still on strike as negotiations between SAG-AFTRA and AMPTP stall.<\/p>\n This isn\u2019t the first time Brown has said she\u2019s ready to close the Stranger Things<\/em> chapter of her life.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re ready to go and blossom and flourish and you\u2019re grateful for the time you\u2019ve had, but it\u2019s time to create your own message and live your own life,\u201d she told Women\u2019s Wear Daily<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Brown is set to star alongside Chris Pratt<\/a><\/strong> in The Electric State<\/strong><\/em>, directed by the Russo Brothers. She also stars alongside Henry Cavill<\/a><\/strong> in Netflix\u2019s Enola Holmes<\/strong><\/em> films, which her production company PCMA produced.<\/p>\n Ultimately, Brown said that Stranger Things<\/em> has given her \u201cthe tools and the resources to be a better actor.\u201d And even as it ends, she\u2019s not worried about losing contact with her costars.<\/p>\n
