The pickleball competition includes big names such as Emma Watson<\/strong><\/a>, Kelly Rowland<\/strong> <\/a>and more.<\/p>\n Pickleball, a sport that involves elements of tennis and ping-pong, has recently gained in popularity, especially with stars such as Tom Brady<\/strong> <\/a>and LeBron James<\/strong><\/a> investing in Major League Pickleball teams across the United States.<\/p>\n The teams, which all feature punny names, are made up of two star partners, CBS revealed in their announcement on Monday, November 7. Team Dink Floyd consists of Rowland, 41, and Murray Bartlett<\/strong><\/a>, while Party \u2018Til You Cake features Tig Notaro<\/strong><\/a> and a \u201cMystery Player,\u201d The Paddle Snakes combines June Diane Raphael<\/strong> <\/a>and Paul Scheer<\/strong><\/a>, as Take This Lob and Shove It stars Jaime Camil<\/strong> <\/a>and Aisha Tyler.<\/strong><\/a> The Volley Ranchers are comprised of Sugar Ray Leonard<\/strong><\/a> and Watson, 32, while Daniel Dae Luis features Luis Guzm\u00e1n<\/strong> <\/a>and Daniel Dae Kim<\/strong><\/a>. Lastly, Jimmie Allen<\/strong><\/a> and Max Greenfield<\/strong><\/a> are competing on Dill-I-Am, as Dierks Bentley<\/strong><\/a> and Phil Keoghan<\/strong> <\/a>bring the heat on when Harry Met Rally. Will Ferrell<\/strong><\/a> is also set to compete, according to multiple reports.<\/p>\n The special is hosted and produced by late-night host Stephen Colbert<\/strong><\/a> and will also include commentary from all-star announcers such as Cari Champion<\/strong>, John Michael Higgins<\/strong> <\/a>and Bill Raftery<\/strong>. After Colbert, 58, and Kenny Loggins<\/strong><\/a> perform the national anthem, the players will take to the court to become Pickled champions.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you love pickleball and you love celebrities and you love helping people, you\u2019re going to love watching these celebrities help people by playing pickleball,\u201d Colbert, 58, said in a statement on October 12.<\/p>\n Celebrities are not only playing to win The Colbert Cup, but, most importantly, to raise money for the Comic Relief US<\/a> charity. Comic Relief supports nearly 2 million homeless and displaced children and young people.
