{"id":46309,"date":"2023-10-16T15:01:47","date_gmt":"2023-10-16T15:01:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2023\/10\/16\/liam-payne-banned-from-driving\/"},"modified":"2023-10-16T15:01:47","modified_gmt":"2023-10-16T15:01:47","slug":"liam-payne-banned-from-driving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2023\/10\/16\/liam-payne-banned-from-driving\/","title":{"rendered":"Liam Payne banned from driving"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"byline\">\n<time itemprop=\"datePublished\" content=\"2023-10-16\" datetime=\"1697468507\" pubdate=\"\">16 October 2023<\/time>\n<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/liam-payne\/\" class=\"exposure-link \" data-linktrack=\"LinkTracker,articleExposure,liam-payne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liam Payne<\/a> has been banned from driving for six months.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"image-caption landscape\">Liam Payne has been banned from driving<\/p>\n<p>The former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/one-direction\/\" class=\"exposure-link \" data-linktrack=\"LinkTracker,articleExposure,one-direction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">One Direction<\/a> singer has been ordered off the roads &#8220;due to repeat offending&#8221; and was fined \u00a3293 after he was caught on camera behind the wheel of his Ford Ranger doing 43mph in a 30mph zone in west London in February.<\/p>\n<p>His case was heard at Lavender Hill Magistrates court on 9 October but the 30-year-old star wasn&#8217;t required to attend.<\/p>\n<p>However, he apologised and claimed he wasn&#8217;t aware of the speed limit in a previous submission to the court.<\/p>\n<p>According to The Sun, he said: \u201cI did not realise the speed limit and apologise for speeding.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nThe &#8216;Strip That Down&#8217; singer &#8211; who was also handed four penalty points for the offence &#8211; declined to give financial information but pledged to pay any fine imposed.<\/p>\n<p>\nHe added: \u201cI am self employed and cannot provide the information at this stage.<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;However I will pay any fine imposed within 14 days.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nLiam has had a number of health issues of late and was hospitalised in Italy last month after being struck down by agonising kidney pain while on holiday in Lake Como with girlfriend Kate Cassidy.<\/p>\n<p>\nHis mum, Karen Payne, previously told MailOnline: &#8220;We are all worried sick about it but we just have to get on. \u201cIt\u2019s horrible \u2013 him being all the way over there. \u201cIt\u2019s such a horrible situation and we just hope he\u2019s in the best place possible.<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;&#8216;He\u2019s in Milan and it sounds like he\u2019ll be there for a week. I feel helpless.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nBut days later, Kate confirmed the singer had been released from hospital and was doing well.<\/p>\n<p>\nShe told her TikTok followers: &#8220;He is doing so much better.
