Last week, the entire Duggar family went on vacation in Florida<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Well \u2014 almost the entire Duggar family.<\/p>\n

As fans were quick to point out Jinger and Jill Duggar were nowhere to be seen<\/a> during this seaside reunion.<\/p>\n

Of course, they\u2019re the two Duggar sisters who published memoirs in the past year, which is probably why they weren\u2019t invited on the trip.<\/p>\n

\n

Jill\u2019s memoir <\/a>was the more scandalous of the two books by a wide margin.<\/p>\n

But even though Jinger depicted her parents in a far more flattering light, it seems she\u2019s received the same punishment as Jill.<\/p>\n

Neither daughter has been totally<\/em> exiled by their parents, but it appears that they\u2019re no longer invited to family gatherings.<\/p>\n

\n

Fortunately, it also looks as though they\u2019re both completely unbothered by the situation.<\/p>\n

Rather than dwelling on the snub, Jinger spent the weekend enjoying fun family activities in her adopted hometown of Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

And in a rare change of pace, she included one her daughters in the pics.<\/p>\n

According to a new report<\/a> from The Sun<\/em>, Jinger posted an Instagram Story that featured the back of Felicity Vuolo\u2019s head.<\/p>\n

In keeping with her privacy policy, she did not post any photos of her daughters\u2019 faces.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe came for [insert ice cream emoji] & ended up at a car show,\u201d Jinger captioned the pic.<\/p>\n

Though Jinger occasionally takes flak for wanting to \u201chave it both ways\u201d \u2014 to live the life of a public figure while still being vigilant about her privacy \u2014 most fans seem to understand why she would want to take such steps to protect her children.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think I have an idea, but why no pictures of your girls? Not being judgmental, just asking,\u201d one fan inquired during an Instagram Q&A.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe girls are doing great!\u201d Jinger replied, cleverly side-stepping the question.<\/p>\n

\u201cFelicity is absolutely smitten by her little sister. And Evy adores Felicity.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

There are many valid reasons not to post a child\u2019s face on social media, but Jinger and Jeremy have more reason than most to be cautious.<\/p>\n

Sure the Vuolos have a lot of fans, but they also have a lot of critics.<\/p>\n

And many of those haters are folks who are militantly loyal to the kind of cult in which Jinger was raised.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s frequently accused of betraying her parents and the ideals of her upbringing, and some of these comments come from dangerous fanatics.<\/p>\n

\n

So yeah, Jinger might be cool with the fact that her family has given her the cold shoulder, and she might be perfectly content in her new life of Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

But she knows all about cult members and how far they\u2019re willing to go to defend their beliefs.<\/p>\n

So it\u2019s probably a very good idea for Jinger to continue taking certain steps to protect her family.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
