Jerry Seinfeld<\/a><\/strong> teased that he might be working with Larry David<\/a><\/strong> to revisit the Seinfeld<\/strong><\/em> finale.<\/p>\n During a Q&A segment of a stand-up show in Boston, the comedian revealed that a new project involving the series\u2019 controversial ending might be in the works.<\/p>\n \u201cSomething is going to happen that has to do with that ending. It hasn\u2019t happened yet,\u201d Seinfeld said. \u201cJust what you are thinking about, Larry [David] and I have also been thinking about. So, you\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n Many fans quickly speculated that the project would be an upcoming Super Bowl ad, as Seinfeld has used characters from his iconic show in multiple commercials in the past. His only other attempt at revisiting the show came in the form of a season-long meta arc on Curb Your Enthusiasm<\/strong><\/em> that saw the entire cast return for a fictional Seinfeld<\/em> reunion.<\/p>\n Whatever format Seinfeld and David\u2019s project eventually takes, it\u2019s currently at a very early stage of development. So early, in fact, that one of the show\u2019s main cast members was unaware of it. In a new interview with The Guardian<\/a><\/em>, Julia Louis-Dreyfus<\/a><\/strong>, who played Elaine Benes for all nine seasons of Seinfeld<\/em>, revealed that she hasn\u2019t heard anything from Seinfeld and David about a potential reunion.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, I just saw last night,\u201d Louis-Dreyfus said when asked about Seinfeld\u2019s comments. \u201cAnd I don\u2019t know what the hell he\u2019s talking about.\u201d<\/p>\n Regardless of whether they choose to revisit Seinfeld<\/em>, the show\u2019s creative team has plenty of projects on their plates to keep them busy. Seinfeld is in post-production on his feature directorial debut \u201cUnfrosted,\u201d which tells the story of the invention of Pop-Tarts, and Larry David recently completed the twelfth and allegedly final season of Curb Your Enthusiasm<\/em> \u2014 though his collaborators have teased that the HBO comedy might not be finished.<\/p>\n
