Christine Brown<\/strong><\/a> has no regrets about her split from husband Kody Brown<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 or her move back to Utah with youngest daughter Truely<\/a>.<\/p>\n Christine, 51, defended her decision during the Sunday, October 15, episode of Sister Wives<\/em><\/a>, asserting that leaving actually benefited Kody\u2019s relationship<\/a> with Truely, 13. \u201cWhen I lived in Flagstaff, [Arizona], I firmly believed that moving to Utah was the best choice for me and for Truely,\u201d she explained. \u201cI knew that I was taking Truely away from her dad. I felt like the best way to preserve Truely\u2019s relationship with Kody was to move her away from him.\u201d<\/p>\n Christine acknowledged that her perspective seemed \u201cbizarre,\u201d noting, \u201cI know it sounds like that doesn\u2019t quite compute.\u201d<\/p>\n Continuing to justify her unconventional tactic<\/a>, Christine argued that moving away \u201cfroze\u201d Kody and Truely\u2019s bond in a healthy place<\/a>. \u201cI took their relationship while it was still good and I picked it up and I moved it,\u201d she told the cameras. \u201cAnd then whenever we come back into town, I just pick it up again and I move it back.\u201d<\/p>\n Kody, however, didn\u2019t quite see the situation the same way \u2014 and he wasn\u2019t afraid to say so. \u201cFor Christine to think that she\u2019s saving my relationship with Truely by taking her away from me and just \u2018preserving\u2019 it \u2014 that\u2019s such B.S. rationalization,\u201d he said in a confessional, calling his ex\u2019s justification \u201cridiculous.\u201d<\/p>\n Christine paid a visit to Flagstaff in Sunday\u2019s episode, reuniting with old friends and fellow sister wife Janelle Brown. The group hit the town to celebrate Christine\u2019s \u201cex-anniversary,\u201d a.k.a. the day she and Kody spiritually tied the knot. (The former couple announced their split<\/a> in November 2021 after 25 years together.)<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m a big fan of divorce, I\u2019m just saying,\u201d Christine teased in a confessional. \u201cPeople that are thinking about it, I say go for it. \u2018I\u2019ve been thinking I need to divorce my husband.\u2019 Go, do it. Absolutely do it. \u2026 I\u2019m not a therapist or a psychiatrist or anything. I just know how it feels on the other side and it\u2019s awesome.\u201d<\/p>\n Along with Truely, Christine and Kody share son Paedon, 25, and daughters Aspyn, 28, Mykelti, 27, Gwendlyn, 21, and Ysabel, 20. Kody is also the father of 12 more children with Janelle, Meri Brown<\/strong><\/a> and Robyn Brown<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n While season 17 of Sister Wives<\/em> highlighted how Christine\u2019s departure<\/a> changed the plural family\u2019s dynamic, season 18 has documented Kody\u2019s fractured relationship<\/a> with Janelle. (Both Janelle and Meri, 52, have split from Kody since filming the season.)<\/p>\n Despite the family\u2019s uncertain future, Christine and Janelle have remained close friends<\/a>. When Christine married husband David Woolley<\/strong><\/a> earlier this month, Janelle was the only Sister Wives<\/em> costar present.<\/p>\n
