Tara Reid <\/strong><\/a>is opening up about how her life has changed since her short-lived time on Special Forces: World\u2019s Toughest Test<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that a lot of fans have been much nicer,\u201d the American Pie<\/em><\/a> star, 47, said to TMZ<\/a> on Thursday, October 12. \u201cSometimes I read what some of the quotes are from fans and it makes me cry because it\u2019s been so kind and nice.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for what the praise from fans has been, Reid said she\u2019s received words such as, \u201cYou did so good,\u201d \u201cJust keep up the strength\u201d and \u201cYou did the best you can and don\u2019t give up on yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo a lot of people came out, and it feels really good to feel that love,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The Josie and the Pussycats<\/em> star removed herself from the Fox competition show on the second day of training, but she had only positive things to share about her experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cI did enjoy the show,\u201d she said. \u201cI enjoyed the cast and everything about it. It made me a tougher person, and it really was a great show to be on.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reid, who said she proved to herself she had \u201ca lot more inner strength\u201d than she thought, also added that she would consider rejoining the show if she had more time to prepare for it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI only got the show three days before we did it,\u201d she explained. \u201cSo a lot of people had, like, six months to work on it, and I had three.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTotally jerkin! Josie and the Pussycats was a box-office flop when it was released in April 2001, but the film and its soundtrack have since earned cult status among fans. Written and directed by Harry Elfont and Deborah Kaplan, the movie is a loose adaption of the Archie Comics series Josie and the Pussycats \u2014 [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During the show\u2019s season 2 premiere<\/a>, Reid\u2019s journey was already off to a rocky start. The Ghosts<\/em> alum attempted to sneak in a pack of cigarettes after the group\u2019s first task \u2014 and was reprimanded for it. She handed over two packs of cigarettes, but Reid was surprised to find a third in her pocket, claiming she \u201cdidn\u2019t know it was in there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reid also compared herself to a \u201cbroken bird\u201d and added that she wants to \u201chave thicker skin and not let people bother me so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI get bullied a lot and stuff, and I just wanted to make myself a stronger person, and I thought this could help. Everyone says, \u2018She got so old looking, she looks bad, she looks like s\u2014t.\u2019 And just this s\u2014t that goes on social media and stuff like that,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
