The \u2018Captain America\u2019 star, 42, made the admission in his first public outing a month after it was reported he had got hitched to the 26-year-old actress \u2013 with the actor also revealing they had two wedding ceremonies.<\/p>\n
Chris spoke about the double celebration while flaunting his wedding ring at the New York Comic Con on Saturday (14.10.23), and told fans: \u201cI got married. It was really, really great.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe kind of had two ceremonies. We had one on the East Coast, we did one in Portugal \u2013 my wife\u2019s Portuguese. But they were just\u2026 wonderful and beautiful. \u201cIt\u2019s a lot planning a wedding \u2013 for those of you who are married you know, it takes a lot out of you.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut now that we\u2019re through that, we\u2019ve just kind of been enjoying life, gearing up for autumn \u2013 my favourite season.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt\u2019s, like, the best time of year right now. Now we\u2019re just relaxing and enjoying life and reflecting.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nIt was reported in September Chris and Alba got married in an intimate ceremony at their Boston-area home.<\/p>\n
\nA source told Page Six at the time that the ceremony was \u201clocked down tight\u201d and guests had to sign non-disclosure agreements and turn off their mobiles.<\/p>\n
\nThe ceremony was attended by guests including Chris\u2019 Marvel co-stars including Jeremy Renner, Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Hemsworth.<\/p>\n
\nIt was also reported the couple travelled to Alba\u2019s home country to have a second wedding so her family could witness her and Chris exchange vows.<\/p>\n
\nChris and Alba first sparked rumours they were an item in November 2022, when People reported they had been dating for more than a year \u2013 and hours after the report, the actors were spotted holding hands in Central Park, New York City.<\/p>\n
\nIn February, Chris made their romance Instagram-official by posting a series of pictures of him and Alba hiking and picking apples to mark Valentine\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
