Witchy woman! Andrew Walker<\/strong><\/a> gushed over his Curious Caterer<\/em> costar Nikki DeLoach<\/strong><\/a> for manifesting their Hallmark Movies & Mysteries franchise<\/a>.<\/p>\n DeLoach, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> on Wednesday, February 1, that she had a \u201cvision\u201d for her and Walker, also 43, to collaborate on a Hallmark mystery film series.<\/p>\n \u201cI think I said [to] you, it was like the top of 2020 or maybe the end of 2019, and I said, \u2018I wanna find a mystery wheel for us,\u2019\u201d the Taking the Reins<\/em> actress said while doing a joint interview with Walker. \u201c\u2019If I have to develop it, I\u2019ll develop it. But, I wanna find a wheel for us.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n The Three Wise Men and a Baby<\/em> actor<\/a> chimed in, telling DeLoach that she needs to \u201cclarify\u201d her visions, because they aren\u2019t random.<\/p>\n \u201cHer visions come true. Nikki Deloach is a witch,\u201d Walker quipped. \u201cShe\u2019s a witch living amongst us.\u201d<\/p>\n The Awkward<\/em> alum<\/a> didn\u2019t argue. In fact, she detailed how her desire to work with Walker on the detective-style movie came about.<\/p>\n \u201cIf it\u2019s dropped into me, it\u2019s almost like something gets channeled and I will have, like, a flash of an image of something \u2014 or I will dream of, like, a scene or something will come to me,\u201d DeLoach told Us<\/em> on Wednesday. \u201cAnd this was something that came to me and I was like, \u2018I think you and I have to do a mystery wheel together. I don\u2019t exactly know what it is yet, but I saw it. I saw us doing this.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n The duo appeared in four Hallmark rom-coms together<\/a> before signing on to helm 2022\u2019s Curious Caterer: Dying for Chocolate<\/em>. In the second mystery film, Curious Caterer: Grilling Season<\/em>, Walker reprised his role as detective Tom Schultz, while DeLoach returned as caterer and amateur sleuth Goldy Berry.<\/p>\n The new drama, which premieres on Sunday, February 5<\/a>, was the \u201cnext best\u201d project for the longtime friends, according to the A Maple Valley Christmas<\/em> actor<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cHonestly, it\u2019s exactly what I would hope for in my evolution [with] Hallmark,\u201d Walker confessed. \u201cThis is \u2026 exactly where I want to be.\u201d<\/p>\n DeLoach, meanwhile, teased that Grilling Season<\/em>, which follows Goldy and Tom\u2019s search for the killer of a local realtor, played to their joint strengths as actors.<\/p>\n \u201c[The writer] infused a lot more comedy into this. He also saw that Andrew and I, we\u2019re physically, like, active,\u201d she explained. \u201cThis is where we end up having so much in common. We love to work out, we love to eat well, we love to listen to podcasts about health and wellness. He owns a juice business. Like, you know, getting to do active stuff in the movie also really turns us on. That\u2019s really fun.\u201d<\/p>\n The Cranberry Christmas<\/em> actress<\/a> promised \u201caction\u201d and \u201chumor\u201d and \u201cromance,\u201d confessing that the \u201cslow burn\u201d between the two characters may leave fans wanting more \u2014 and yearning for a third film.<\/p>\n Whether another Curious Caterer<\/em> movie comes to fruition or not, both DeLoach and Walker have no plans of stopping their partnership<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI truly love Andrew Walker so much, like, family. The fact that we get to go do that and work together and do these movies, it\u2019s so cool,\u201d Five More Minutes<\/em> actress said.<\/p>\n The Bottled With Love<\/em> actor<\/a> echoed his costar\u2019s sentiments, telling DeLoach, \u201cI just love you so much.\u201d<\/p>\n Walker continued: \u201cHallmark is so lucky to have her. And then I get this opportunity to be working the most with Nikki, which is just such an awesome place to be. She challenges me. She\u2019s there for me and she supports me. It\u2019s great. We got the same work ethic.
