\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Adam Driver<\/strong><\/a> is sharing his \u201cterrifying\u201d experience getting behind the wheel of a vintage racecar on the set of his new movie!<\/p>\n The 39-year-old \u201cMarriage Story\u201d actor will play the sports-car magnate Enzo Ferrari<\/strong> in the upcoming biopic, titled Ferrari<\/em>, directed by Michael Mann<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n While promoting the film at the 2023 New York Film Festival<\/em> on Friday (October 13), Adam<\/strong> was asked about what it was like driving an \u201copen-wheel single seater.\u201d<\/p>\n After calling the experience \u201cterrifying,\u201d he told Variety<\/a><\/em>, \u201cIt teleports you back to the time and you realize if you turn left or right the wrong way, then you\u2019re dead. There\u2019s at least seatbelts in the newer cars.\u201d<\/p>\n In a press conference earlier on Friday, Adam<\/strong> recalled that the shooting occurred at \u201can abandoned airstrip in Modena, Italy,\u201d and that \u201cyou can really feel how dangerous they are obviously, versus a contemporary Ferrari. The goal was to get thrown from the car because that was considered more safe than to be locked in this moving coffin,\u201d per the outlet.<\/p>\n Michael<\/strong> expanded on Adam<\/strong>\u2018s description, telling the audience, \u201cThe idea was you\u2019d rather be thrown from the car than dragged by the car, so that\u2019s why they didn\u2019t wear seatbelts.
