The “Fancy” singer jokes in a new interview about her longtime “crush” on <\/span>Travis Kelce<\/a> as a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “Oh, my gosh, I am so mad at her because I had a crush on him,” McEntire cracks to <\/span>TODAY.com<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/em>“Now I can\u2019t have a crush anymore because he\u2019s dating her.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The legendary country star — who is currently promoting her new book,\u00a0<\/span>Not That Fancy: Simple Lessons on Living, Loving, Eating, and Dusting Off Your Boots<\/span><\/em> — doubles down that she’s “so devastated” while referring to the tight end as her “boyfriend that cheated on” her.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In real life, McEntire has been dating actor Rex Linn since 2020 — and he’s well versed in the singer’s affinity for Kelce and his teammate, Patrick Mahomes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “When he and Taylor started dating, Rex said, ‘Your boyfriend’s got another girlfriend,'” McEntire joked. “I said, ‘Rub it in.'”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Swift\u00a0<\/span>caused a stir<\/a>\u00a0last month when\u00a0<\/span>she attended<\/a>\u00a0Kelce’s game against the Chicago Bears, even sitting with his mother, Donna Kelce, throughout\u00a0<\/span>the matchup<\/a>. Afterward,\u00a0<\/span>Kelce revealed<\/a>\u00a0on his\u00a0<\/span>New Heights\u00a0<\/span><\/em>podcast what his mom and others thought about the pop star.<\/span><\/p>\n “Shoutout to Taylor for pulling up, that was pretty ballsy. I just thought it was awesome how everyone in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her.
