Southern Charm<\/em><\/a> star Taylor Ann Green<\/strong><\/a> wasn\u2019t happy that Austen Kroll<\/strong><\/a> confessed to her ex-boyfriend Shep Rose<\/strong><\/a> that they kissed \u2014 especially after she and Austen agreed to keep it quiet.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was pretty disappointed,\u201d Taylor, 28,\u00a0exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> while discussing the Thursday, October 12, episode of Southern Charm<\/em>, referring to Austen, 36, telling Shep, 43, they \u201ckissed\u201d after weeks of them both denying the hook up.<\/p>\n

Taylor explained to Us<\/em> that she originally felt like she and Austen needed to \u201ccome clean and just come out with everything\u201d but Austen allegedly convinced her to keep the secret<\/a>. (Taylor swore to Olivia Flowers<\/strong><\/a> earlier this season that she and Austen never hooked up. However, Austen admitted on Thursday\u2019s episode that he shared a smooch with Taylor after Taylor and Shep split. Austen then claimed that nothing else happened between them.)<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was like, \u2018That\u2019s not the important part.\u2019 He was like, \u2018A drunken kiss, doesn\u2019t really matter<\/a>. A conversation that we had [about dating]. OK, we can do that,\u2019\u201d Taylor recalled. \u201cBut then of course he was like, \u2018I feel liberated and free and I don\u2019t care.\u2019 And I was like, \u2018Well, I\u2019m glad you feel liberated, because I just lied to one of my really good friends and I felt really, really bad about that<\/a>.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor \u2014 who dated Shep for two years before splitting in July 2022<\/a> \u2014 couldn\u2019t get over the fact that Austen hung her out to dry. \u201cI was like, \u2018I wish we were on the same page with this because I stuck to what you had advised me to do,\u2019\u201d she told Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n

When Olivia \u2014 who dated Austen in 2022 before calling it quits that October<\/a> \u2014 previously asked Taylor point blank if \u201cya\u2019ll ever hooked up,\u201d Taylor denied it<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Taylor confessed to Us<\/em> that she felt \u201ca little bit\u201d betrayed by Austen when he changed the plan. Ultimately, she forgave him because she is \u201cglad that it came out\u201d and was no longer hidden.<\/p>\n

During Thursday\u2019s episode, Taylor finally told Olivia<\/a>\u00a0that she did kiss Austen shortly after Austen and Olivia broke up. The timing, however, was terrible as Olivia and Taylor were among their friends about to sit down for a fancy dinner party.<\/p>\n

\u201cLooking back, I\u2019m like, \u2018I wish that we had just kind of [waited],\u2019 but I was so eager to be like, \u2018I don\u2019t want you to hear it from anybody else. I want you to hear it from me.\u2019 So I was like, snag her at the [moment] when she walked in, I\u2019m like, \u2018Hey, welcome,\u2019\u201d Taylor said of the awkward exchange. \u201cI was like, \u2018I should have probably taken her off and pulled her aside,\u2019 but I just was like, \u2018I have to tell her.\u2019 \u2026\u00a0 Austen got to feel liberated with his friend. I want to feel liberated with mine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor shared that she was able to breathe once she told Olivia the truth<\/a>, but it was obvious she didn\u2019t pick the right moment to clear her conscience.<\/p>\n

\u201cOlivia\u2019s the type of person where she has to process things, and that\u2019s why I was so wanting to meet up with her that morning and let her process it,\u201d Taylor explained. \u201cBut of course, you can\u2019t really have it your way when cameras are in town. I felt really bad that she wasn\u2019t able to really process it. And there we are with all of her friends, and she is just sitting here like she said, she\u2019s like, \u2018What twilight zone am I in?\u2019 So I wish that she had had a little bit more time.\u201d<\/p>\n

When it comes to their current friendship status, Taylor told Us<\/em> that she and Olivia have \u201ctabled\u201d their drama for now. After they both lost a sibling this year \u2014 Taylor\u2019s brother died in June<\/a>, while Olivia\u2019s brother passed away January<\/a> \u2014 the women have \u201cbeen able to put all things aside and be there for each other as friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor\u2019s love life<\/a> has also improved in recent months. The Bravo star exclusively told Us<\/em> that she is dating a man named Gaston<\/strong><\/a>. The pair met through Southern Hospitality<\/em> star TJ Dinch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel very confident and secure in our relationship, so I don\u2019t feel like we\u2019re both two separate people,\u201d she told Us<\/em>, noting the duo \u201cmade things official\u201d about a month ago. \u201cWe do our separate things and when we come together, it feels very natural and easy.\u201d<\/p>\n
