Are you ready for it? Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> is releasing her Eras Tour<\/em> concert film one day early.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cPREMIERE DAY,\u201d Swift, 33, wrote via Instagram<\/a> on Wednesday, October 11, alongside a photo holding a custom Eras Tou<\/em>r cup. \u201cAndddd I can\u2019t really wrap my head around this but \u2026 Look what you genuinely made me do: Due to unprecedented demand, we\u2019re opening up early access showings of The Eras Tour Concert Film on THURSDAY in America and Canada!! As in \u2026 TOMORROW.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Swift noted that Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour<\/em> \u2014 which was initially set to premiere<\/a> on Friday, October 13, in correlation with her favorite number \u2014 would have \u201cadditional showtimes\u201d throughout the weekend, with ticket times becoming available by 10 a.m. Thursday morning. The movie will also be showing in 90 countries \u201call over the world\u201d beginning on Friday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t thank you enough for wanting to see this film that so vividly captures my favorite adventure I\u2019ve ever been a part of: The Eras Tour<\/em>,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd the best part is, it\u2019s an adventure we\u2019re still on together. \ud83e\udef6 Getting in the car now.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

News of the early showtimes came hours before the film\u2019s Los Angeles premiere, which Swift attended alongside a group of lucky fans. It also comes just two weeks before the release of 1989 (Taylor\u2019s Version)<\/em><\/a>, the fourth of Swift\u2019s rerecorded albums.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The pop star began rerecording her first six albums after Scooter Braun<\/strong><\/a> bought and subsequently sold her masters in June 2019. Fearless (Taylor\u2019s Version)<\/em> was the first to drop in April 2021, followed by Red (Taylor\u2019s Version)<\/em> and Speak Now (Taylor\u2019s Version)<\/em> in October 2021 and July 2023, respectively.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Swift\u2019s Eras Tour<\/em> film \u2014 which captures her 44-song concert that kicked off earlier this year and runs through her decades-worth of discography \u2014 is on track to open as the top-grossing music concert film ever. It had already racked up advance ticket sales upward of $100 million one week before opening, according to The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Swift first announced the project in August<\/a>, after months of speculation that her U.S. leg of shows was captured for the big screen. \u201cThe Eras Tour<\/em> has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I\u2019m overjoyed to tell you that it\u2019ll be coming to the big screen soon,\u201d she wrote via Instagram at the time, sharing a trailer for the movie.<\/span><\/p>\n
