Emmy Rossum<\/strong><\/a> had a sweet run-in with her former Shameless<\/em><\/a> costar Ethan Cutkosky<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis brings me so much joy,\u201d Rossum, 37, wrote via Instagram<\/a> on Wednesday, October 11, alongside two selfies of herself and Cutkosky, 24, smiling.<\/p>\n

The duo donned cozy sweaters as they were out and about on a fall day, posing for a picture together in front of an empty intersection.<\/p>\n

Cutkosky and Rossum siblings Carl and Fiona Gallagher, respectively, on Shameless<\/em><\/a> Jeremy Allen White<\/strong><\/a>, Emma Kenney<\/strong><\/a> and Cameron Monaghan<\/strong><\/a> rounded out the Gallagher kids on the show. Rossum\u2019s character served as the caretaker of the family as the show\u2019s patriarch Frank (William H. Macy<\/strong><\/a>) struggled with substance abuse.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tGallaghers forever! The long-running dramedy Shameless wrapped up its 10-year run in April 2021, but the Gallagher family\u2019s antics will always live on in viewers\u2019 hearts. Based on a British TV show of the same name, Shameless premiered on Showtime in January 2011. William H. Macy anchored the cast as Frank Gallagher, the family patriarch. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Another Shameless<\/em> reunion made headlines earlier this year, White, 32, reunited with costars Shanola Hampton<\/strong><\/a>, Noel Fisher<\/strong>, Isidora Goreshter<\/strong>, Steve Howey<\/strong> and Zach McGowan<\/strong> on the picket lines<\/a> for the SAG-AFTRA strike.<\/p>\n

Shameless ran for 11 seasons, with Rossum remaining on the critically acclaimed series for nine seasons until she opted to exit<\/a> in 2018.<\/p>\n

\u201cUntil Shameless came into my life 8 years ago, I led that kind of transient wonderful life of an actor. And I never realized how much I actually craved the kind of continuity that this show has given me. And given all of us in the crew,\u201d Rossum wrote in a lengthy goodbye post<\/a> via Facebook in August 2018. \u201cSeason after season I\u2019m amazed that our same crew comes back. And it\u2019s not just because it\u2019s a wonderfully written, wonderfully layered show. There are these real connections, real friendships that bring us back season after season after season.\u201d<\/p>\n
