Television personality and Mirrorball champ Brooke Burke<\/strong> competed on Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> in 2008 with partner (now judge) Derek Hough<\/strong><\/a>, but has only just revealed she was \u201ctempted\u201d to have an affair with him after she started \u201ccrushing\u201d on him.<\/p>\n \u201cHad I not been married \u2026 I would have actually hoped we would have had a love affair,\u201d she told Cheryl Burke<\/strong><\/a> on the \u201cSex, Lies and Spray Tans\u201d podcast on Sunday, October 8. \u201cBut listen, let me tell you why: You are intertwined with someone\u2019s body when you\u2019re not a dancer. There is no way that I have ever been so connected \u2014 besides with a lover or a husband \u2014 than I was with Derek. And it\u2019s every single day. So, for three months, you are in someone\u2019s arms. Why do you think people fall in love? You smell them, you feel them, you\u2019re breathing with them.\u201d<\/p>\n The TV personality, 52, was dating now-ex-husband David Charvet<\/strong> during her time on DWTS<\/em><\/a> season 7 and the pair tied the knot in 2011.
