Drake<\/strong><\/a> knows that some people think it\u2019s weird he\u2019s friends with Millie Bobby Brown<\/strong><\/a>, but he\u2019s not here for the criticism<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The rapper, 36, addressed his friendship with Brown, 19, on the song \u201cAnother Late Night\u201d from his new album<\/a>, For All the Dogs<\/em>, which dropped on Friday, October 6. \u201cWeirdos in my comments talkin\u2019 \u2019bout some Millie Bobby, look \/ Bring them jokes up to the gang, we get to really flockin\u2019,\u201d Drake raps on the track\u2019s first verse. \u201cOr send a finger to your mama in some FedEx boxes \/ Open up that s\u2013t, it\u2019s jaw droppin\u2019, really shockin\u2019, ayy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Drake\u2019s relationship with Brown first made headlines in July 2018 when the actress, then 14, revealed that she was in touch with the musician. \u201cHe invited me to his concert,\u201d Brown told W<\/em> magazine, explaining how their connection began. \u201cAnd now we talk all the time. I ask his advice.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two months later, Brown described Drake as \u201ca great friend\u201d and \u201cgreat role model\u201d with whom she regularly texts. \u201c[He gives me advice] about boys,\u201d she told Access Hollywood<\/em> in September 2018. \u201cHe helps me. He\u2019s great, he\u2019s wonderful. I love him.\u201d<\/p>\n

When online commenters later began to question the duo\u2019s dynamic, Brown took to Instagram<\/a> to defend her famous friend. \u201cWhy u gotta make a lovey friendship ur headline? U guys are weird \u2026 for real,\u201d Brown wrote in September 2018. \u201cI\u2019m lucky to have people in the business extend their time to help me further my career and offer their wisdom and guidance. I\u2019m very blessed to have amazing people in my life. U don\u2019t get to choose that for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

She concluded: \u201cIt\u2019s nice to have people who understand what I do. Now get back to talking about real problems in this world other than my friendships \u2026 jeez.\u201d<\/p>\n
