Kody Brown<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s relationship with Robyn Brown<\/strong><\/a> has been scrutinized since she joined his plural family<\/a> \u2014 and things are no less \u201cawkward\u201d now that she\u2019s his last remaining wife.<\/p>\n

During the Sunday, October 8, episode of Sister Wives<\/em><\/a>, the 54-year-old patriarch opened up about his family\u2019s changing dynamic after his split from Christine Brown<\/strong><\/a> and tension with Meri<\/strong><\/a> and Janelle Brown<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really awkward because the only wife I have a relationship with right now is Robyn, but we\u2019ve never been allowed to, essentially, be in love with each other or find solace in each other \u2026 and now everybody else is leaving, everybody else is gone,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Kody added that the \u201cmess\u201d between him and his other wives hasn\u2019t made his relationship with Robyn, 44, any easier. \u201cWe\u2019re having these struggles with everybody else, but we still don\u2019t feel like we can expose our place of solace, our love for each other in any way,\u201d he said. \u201cThis is not a safe place for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Though Robyn Brown was the last wife to join Kody Brown\u2019s polygamous brood, the pair\u2019s bond has only gotten stronger since their wedding day. \u201cShe looked like a soccer mom,\u201d Kody opened up about his first impressions of Robyn during an early episode of\u00a0Sister Wives. \u201cShe had a van,\u00a0three kids\u00a0and was divorced. Robyn shared her own perspective<\/a> later in the episode, reflecting on what\u2019s \u201cbeen going down\u201d in Kody\u2019s relationships. \u201cIt\u2019s been very frustrating to watch,\u201d she confessed. \u201cIt\u2019s all of them doing it. It\u2019s Kody with Christine and Kody with Janelle, and I have no say and I have no influence whatsoever.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time, Robyn noted that Meri, 52, was \u201cstill trying to hang on\u201d to her and Kody\u2019s marriage. \u201cI just feel like there\u2019s just so little left and I\u2019m, like, trying to show her that there\u2019s still some hope and Kody is not helping me with that,\u201d she added. \u201cIt\u2019s very frustrating and some days it feels like a dealbreaker.\u201d<\/p>\n

While discussing the future of her B&B business on Sunday, Meri admitted to Kody she had \u201chope\u201d for their relationship despite their ups and downs. \u201cI don\u2019t want you to think that I\u2019m walking away,\u201d she told him.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKody Brown\u2019s relationships with Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, Christine Brown and Robyn Brown have all had their ups and downs \u2014 but many Sister Wives viewers were shocked when nearly all his wives started to leave him. TLC fans were introduced to the Brown family in 2010 when he was legally married to Meri and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Meri\u2019s emotions got the best of her during the conversation, for which Robyn was also present. She comforted Meri as she teared up \u2014 but the supportive gesture<\/a> didn\u2019t sit well with Kody.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I\u2019m seeing here is Robyn being an advocate of me and Meri and our reconciliation \u2026 and they\u2019re making me feel very uncomfortable,\u201d he said in a confessional. \u201cI got one wife that I\u2019ve got a great relationship with and I\u2019m afraid if I abandon these women, that she\u2019ll lose respect for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meri and Kody confirmed<\/a> earlier this year that they\u2019re no longer together, but throughout season 18, she\u2019s been trying to hold onto what was left of their relationship. Christine, 51, was the first of Kody\u2019s wives to leave the family in 2021, followed by Janelle, 54, last year.<\/p>\n
