Who doesn\u2019t love a good charcuterie board? Not only does it have something for everyone \u2014 cheese<\/a>, meats, jams, fruits, you name it \u2014 but it can be consumed almost anywhere. It makes a great snack<\/a>, whether you\u2019re at the beach, a picnic, a party, or your living room.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n But if you\u2019re putting one together, you might want to stop and take a closer look at where your meat is coming from because the USDA has announced a recall of several charcuterie-style meats.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Daniele International LLC has recalled almost 53,000 pounds of ready-to-eat sausage products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes, the U.S. Department of Agriculture\u2019s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n The recall<\/a> includes several different sausage products made by American sausage makers. The products were produced from May 23, 2022, through November 25, 2022, and shipped to retail locations nationwide from December 23, 2022, through January 17, 2023. The USDA site has a list of the specific products with accompanying photos<\/a> that are subject to recall.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n The FSIS discovered the problem during an inspection where Listeria was found. Thankfully, there are no reports of anyone consuming the affected products, but there is concern that some of it may already be in consumers\u2019 homes.
