In fact, Wi-Fi 6E might not be a supported new feature at all \u2014 South Korea only certified the device <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2023\/9\/7\/23863862\/valve-galileo-sephiroth-1030-south-korea-radio-certification#:~:text=save%20that%20it%20uses%205GHz%20Wi%2DFi%2C\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">for 5GHz Wi-Fi<\/a>, not 6GHz Wi-Fi, despite the country approving unlicensed use of the 6GHz band back in 2020. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">Valve can hide whatever new features it likes behind the Wi-Fi chip certification because these agencies only tend to regulate radio emissions, not other specs. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2023\/9\/21\/23884863\/valve-steam-deck-2-refresh-upgrade-cpu-2025#:~:text=All%20that%20said%2C%20Valve%20might%20totally%20still%20have%20a%20Steam%20Deck%20refresh%20in%20the%20works%20that%20doesn%E2%80%99t%20change%20the%20performance%20floor.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I have a few ideas<\/a> for what Valve should include next.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph mb-20 font-fkroman text-18 leading-160 -tracking-1 selection:bg-franklin-20 dark:text-white dark:selection:bg-blurple [&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-franklin dark:[&amp;_a:hover]:shadow-highlight-blurple [&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-black dark:[&amp;_a]:shadow-underline-white\">I have to admit it could simply be an existing Steam Deck with a refreshed radio chip if its previous supplier, Realtek, ran out.
