Maren Morris is no stranger to receiving online criticism about her appearance, her parenting skills or even her career, but she\u2019s not letting that get her down. \u201cIf it\u2019s confusing to you, it\u2019s because you think we\u2019re \u2018fighting\u2019 over politics. We\u2019re not. This isn\u2019t political,\u201d the \u201cMiddle\u201d songstress tweeted in August 2022, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cI thought I\u2019d like to burn it to the ground and start over,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cBut it\u2019s burning itself down without my help.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, Morris used the \u201cPopcast\u201d podcast to further explain what she really meant, revealing that she won\u2019t be participating in country music-based awards shows<\/a>.<\/p>\n\u201cI asked to not submit my music. \u2026 I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s forever,\u201d she explained. \u201cI\u2019m not shutting off fans of country music, or that\u2019s not my intention.
