Jamie Lynn Spears<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 journey on Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> came to an abrupt end, but she\u2019s just happy she got to go along for the ride.<\/p>\n

Spears, 32, detailed her two-week stint on the show via Instagram<\/a> after her elimination during the Tuesday, October 3, episode. \u201cYalllllll, I promise I hear and see all the many wonderfully passionate ppl who are not happy with the way things fell tonight, and i appreciate the tremendous amount love and support,\u201d she wrote on Tuesday night. \u201cBut this was an amazing experience, and I\u2019m very happy to have been apart of it, and soooo excited to see all the fabulous contestants and their partners continue to KILL it each week!!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

She also thanked her partner, Alan Bersten<\/strong><\/a>, who previously won DWTS<\/em> in season 28. \u201cAlan, you\u2019re the absolute best friend and partner that anyone could ever ask for,\u201d Spears wrote, adding that she\u2019s thrilled about the fundraising she did while on the show. \u201cI got to raise some money for my #SAGAFTRA community and meet some of the most amazing ppl, and That\u2019s a win by all accounts in what I set out to do. Softball moms are hot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bersten, 29, also weighed in on the pair\u2019s elimination, sharing a sad face emoji via his Instagram Story on Tuesday night. \u201cThere\u2019s nothing I love more than dancing on Dancing With the Stars<\/em>,\u201d he added in a caption. In a Twitter post, he simply wrote, \u201cDamn.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the scores were tallied on Tuesday, judge Derek Hough<\/strong><\/a> said he didn\u2019t see Spears\u2019 elimination coming<\/a>. \u201cHonestly, it\u2019s quite surprising. Jamie Lynn, you were fantastic, truly,\u201d he told her as she prepared to leave the ballroom. \u201cYou should be really proud of what you did here. Wow, it\u2019s a shocker, honestly. Jamie, we\u2019re gonna miss you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before her exit from the ABC series, Spears had at least one unexpected fan in her corner: her former brother-in-law Kevin Federline<\/strong><\/a>. Ahead of Tuesday\u2019s episode, Federline, 45, told TMZ that he\u2019s \u201crooting for her<\/a>, that\u2019s for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n
