\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Paramount+<\/strong><\/a> is putting a spotlight on the boy bands of the 90s and early 2000s!<\/p>\n The streaming service has picked up a documentary about the boy band-obsessed era and their place in pop culture, Variety<\/em> reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n Longtime music manager Johnny Wright<\/strong>, who has managed acts like New Kids on the Block<\/strong><\/a>, *NSYNC<\/strong><\/a>, 98 Degrees<\/strong><\/a> and more, has teamed up with Gunpower and Sky CEO Van Toffler<\/strong> to produce the upcoming doc.<\/p>\n Get more details inside\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe \u201990s boy band era made an indelible impact and will be forever woven into the pop culture landscape,\u201d Bruce Gilmer<\/strong>, Paramount\u2019s president of music, music talent, programming and events and Paramount+\u2019s chief content officer of music, said in a statement. \u201cBoy bands remain bonafide global sensations to this day, as seen in the fan frenzy heard around the world during *NSYNC<\/strong>\u2019s on-stage reunion at this year\u2019s VMAs<\/em> <\/a>and the ever-spreading domination of K-Pop\u2019s biggest groups like BTS<\/strong><\/a>, Stray Kids<\/strong><\/a> and TXT<\/strong><\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n Tamra Davis<\/strong> is set to direct the doc, which will \u201cinclude the songs, band members and personalities who defined the time period and explain the popularity of boy bands.\u201d<\/p>\n No premiere date has been set at this time.
